if the universe is truly unlimited, then the light particles from your tv will continue out towards the edges of the universe for all eternity.

>>27506764
No, they would collide into the environment around the TV.

are you telling me if you look through someones window with a telescope for totally legal reasons, you wont be able to see anything inside?

Eventually the environment would absorb the light. A telescope works by collecting light. Therefore over a long distance you can see more than what you could without a telescope at the same distance. There comes a distance where the light would either be absorbed by the environment, or the atmosphere would reflect it back down into the Earth, which would cause it to be absorbed. Think of a flashlight, and how the light disappears as soon as you turn it off. This is because the environment absorbs all of the light.
Do you understand physics and the laws of nature?

are you telling me that you can no longer see a star as soon as it stops burning trillions of lightyears away?

A star emits more light you stupid fuck. Its also far brighter than a flashlight.

i was talking about your odd reasoning. as you said, its about collecting the light. just because theres very little of it doesnt mean it disappears entirely. if i set a tv outside facing towards the sky, a sufficiently powerful scope could see it from space; like a sniper spotting a cigarette cherry 5 kilometers away. similarly, even if the tv is indoors, it could still be seen at the correct angles with a sufficiently powerful scope.

my little pony will travel across the universe for all eternity. aliens will be arguing on the astronet about waifus.
