I like Flutters so that doesn't concern me and as others have said it can't be worse than last week's clunker of an episode.
This season has had some really good episodes (Saddle Row, No Second Prances) and some real clunkers (Applejack's Day Off, Newbie Dash) so I don't think you can really make a strong guess as to whether its going to be quality or not.

Her episodes aren't all about the same thing, though. That's not true for any character. Every episode is meaningful in at least some way to exploring them or giving them depth, and makes sense for people who relate to that character to enjoy.

The most interesting aspect about these characters is their interaction with more dynamic characters. That's why Fluttershy should be paired characters as Discord or Tree Hugger.
