Todays episode was really fucking good. It was simple slice of life with a moral and gags. Season 6 is literally bringing back the comfy innocence of Season 1 and I seem to be the only person who browses this site to be able to tell this.

it doesn't make character OOC, or shit on characters, but it just feels.. THERE. There's no real conflict, there's no real character development, and it its just kind of like the one where pinkie pie knows, its just the character going about their day without a real plot.

Like others have said, it was a great little slice-of-life type of episode. The pacing was drastically different from anything we've seen in a while, though. Also, stubborn AJ is best AJ.

Season 1, especially the first half, is the weakest in my opinion.
Some will say it's season 3, but comparing season 3 to the first half of season 1, I personally still prefer season 3.
Stop living in the past...
I'm glad season 1 exist, because it established the tone and the characters of the show.
And for its time, it was one of the bests, if not the best Cartoon airing.
Adventure Time was the only other one watchable. But Adventure time season 1 was just silly thing with a pretty shallow narrative.
