I always imagined Luna's regalia as a collar necklace made of strung beads of black gemstones, such as obsidian or if we want to go to real gemstones, black sapphires or black star diopside, with a big silver or white gemstone moon embedded the center. Something flexible and comfortable, but still substantial.
I also imagined Discord having both fur and feathers in a semi-random configuration. (more feathers near his griffon arm and dragon parts, and more fur near his mammal parts)
