An equivalent to the races (earth pony, unicorn, pegasus) would be difficult to come up with. Sure, cats have varying breeds, but it's mostly just fur color, fur length, and mannerisms that change. Not quite the same as wings/horns/whatever the fuck it is earth ponies have again.
