My first impulsive reaction is "these worthless bags of scum should be wiped off the earth"
But then there are a lot of factors to take into account: how popular the quest was, how long has it been running, does it have an actual plot, or even real life, does the Qm have health / money problems, the likes.
I'd shit on a QM who gives up on a popular quest because they fucked up once and refuse to power through it.
I'd forgive a QM who had only one player, who just doesn't know where to take his story, or who has to land a job in the next two weeks or else they get kicked out of their house.
To give out concrete examples, Cutie Clash and Long Name are cases of pussying out, but DitA seems to have a legitimate reason to stop right now.
I'm unsure how to feel about QMs suddenly disappearing like An Opposite Ending, Gathering Storm, or Cyborg. On the one hand, who the fuck do you think you are, leaving your 3-4 players behind without notice? On the other hand, maybe they actually died, and nobody would know for sure.
I don't remember what was the reason for Anonpone and JAD stopping. Was it just the QM burning out?

There are quests like DitA and Nips quests where the art is basically essential, since it makes up for the lacking story.
Fins should really do without art. It takes away from the adventure rather than adding to it.
