A gun, I would just shoot him with your average everyday hunting rifle. I can't imagine his eyes would be too hard to hit. Well, I was under the impression the ponies of the show are about half the size of a RL horse. So if we scale him like that, he is pretty huge, you could not take a elephant down with most normal small arms, even with a huge elephant gun you won't put him down for the count immediately, they are going to thrash around a lot more often than not. I have hit a Raccoon in the head with a 22 round, scale wise that it way bigger than what I would be dealing with in this scenario, and it tossed around for a good fifteen seconds until I got it a second time.
