Assuming all ponies could somehow operate vehicles,(fucking magic idk) what kind would each pony drive?
Rarity would drive something fancy and expensive
Twilight would drive something nerdy and fuel efficient
Rainbow Dash would want some thing fast and cool-looking
Fluttershy would look for something with no carbon footprint, so probably something foot powered
Apple jack would want something practical that she could use on the apple orchard
Pinkie would want... a party van or something idk
What do you guys think?

Pinkie Pie.

This fits RD better than any other car could.
Its blue.
It has a wing.
And it was banned from nascar for being too fast, the competition couldn't keep up.
Spike trying to keep a bad boy image would probably drive a motorcycle.

Actually, Ford was at work on their answer to the Dodge Charger Daytona and the Plymouth Superbird: the Ford Torino King Cobra and the Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II. I don't know how well they would have done, as I have heard conflicting reports of their testing, but NASCAR nixed any idea of them racing.
Besides the fact none of these cars would meet new federal bumper standards set to take effect within a few years, NASCAR wasn't keen on the idea of such exotic cars being made by the Big Three just for competition. Not to mention the aero warriors languished on dealer lots, both because of price as well as the fact the public did not like the looks. Too outrageous, even for that time.
I'm done now, I swear. I've just always been enamored by the Superbird. Badly enough to write a stupid pony fanfic.

Le Mans is a 24 hour long endurance test, not a set number of miles.
