Well im all ready to brag about how we always get the best episode some more.
Even though it was in some ways more of a group episode with a Rarity lean than a full on Rarity solo act.

But Kazumi Evans is fantastic, and I just hope she gets another solo song this season, there shouldn't be a reason not to. I mean, this was more of a Mane 6 episode with Rarity as a bit of a point than just a Rarity episode, and it was still very good, I just hope that come September when the show comes back (as we know every episode until the hiatus) that there will be a solo episode for her.
I mean it does seem that Twilight aside (as she gets several in premiers and finales), and aside from S3 which left out Rarity, each pony does get a solo episode where they get an individual song.

It was a Rarity episode in the same vein Last Roundup is an Applejack episode, Rarity was the instigator of the plot and the character with the most screen time, but the rest of the Mane 6 had a major role as much of the episode was also about how they relate to her and attempt to do what they think she'd do.
In short it was basically an episode about how much the Mane 6 love Rarity, with a kind of opposite mortal to Castle Sweet Castle: Sometimes you SHOULD look at your own talents when helping a friend rather than just trying to copy them.

People who hate Rarity usually do so because her traditional feminine values reminds them of SJW and other controlling women in their lives whom they dislike.
Rarity isn't like that though, she's not controlling everyone to make her way in life, she's self-made and ultimately self-defined, many important Rarity episodes have her rejecting outside judgements in favor of her own despite her desire to be popular. Rarity is a lesson on how to "make it" as a traditional woman without being histrionic or controlling. When push comes to shove Rarity will always go her own way, she couldn't be an SJW or the like, she'd immediately see the unfairness and weakness inherent within it.
I'm a ponkfag but if I found a woman as strong as Rarity in real life I wouldn't hesitate.

I rewatched S6 recently and my favourite episode is the Manehattan one with Maud (always a good sign) and Pinkie. I think Rarity's reserved confidence and enthusiasm go well with Ponk's not so reserved confidence and enthusiasm, they play off each other surprisingly well. I mean, that could be said for any of the M6 but how often do you get just Pinkie and Rarity together? It's a shame they aren't featured as leads more, they're my two favourites.
