Yeah having a TV show helps. But GI Joe toys sold the best because they were the best. TMNT toys had good vehicles, but I didn't like the toys because they didn't move well. The brand woman just said that the show had adventure episodes facing dragons and other monsters, but we only had toys representing the friendship aspect of it so far, no toys representing the magic part, so they found it fitting to try a subline that focuses on adventure and magic that the main line neglected for so long.
