I'll be honest, in a completely non-sexual context I actually really liked every character wearing clothes in the story portion of this episode.
It kind of made me wish that clothes were a thing everyone wore throughout the whole series. I just felt that it added a little extra to the designs that made them feel more aesthetically appealing.
Though in all honesty I really don't get what the character designers have against pants. It's not like you couldn't make pants work on a quadruped aesthetically, in fact they've done pants before on a couple of characters.
