So, this was some pretty heavy update. She's still offline on Skype though, it's almost a month now. Anyone interested in decrypting stuff, again?

No. She can suck a zigger dick for all I care. That way she can actually have a purpose, instead of making some edgy After-Effects creepy pasta video.

Up while I update.
>>
>>27335509
I've updated the archive pastebin to the present date.

The video is interesting on a couple of accounts: The whole Miasma is in the dark thing is something we'd theorized before, but then there's the "ONE IS MISSING" statement - a while back some of her posts seemed to show evidence of secret Apollo 18, maybe even 19 missions. So, is one "missing" from history, or is one literally missing and the miasma's making a move?

There's also the "OVEREXPOSURE IS IRREPARABLE" - up until now our timeline kind of showed Luna being contacted by Apollo 17, objects of hers being brought back to Earth, hostile contact with later missions after we'd angered her. But what if that was Luna keeping containment? She wasn't angered by the astronauts, she put down potential escape risks to protect us after astronauts were fatally exposed to miasma - perhaps miasma coming from her?

Lastly, can a codefag take a look at that screaming noise? I have a sneaking suspicion its another audio code but don't know how to check that myself.

I hope the author has come up with more story.

I think the problem with this blog is that we picked up on it and solved it faster than the author intended. New content was slow and cryptic. Without it we didn't have enough pieces of the puzzle, so we lost interest.

It's a shame. I loved it.
I was an Audio Anon trying to slow down noises and find secret messages.
Good times, goooood times.

I worked a lot on the whole space race "story" (the missing Apollo missions, Byrd station, the timeline, Russian moon landers, Apollo–Soyuz, tracking the Gameboy's timeline), but that's something else that didn't seem to lead anywhere.
When I fell off, in September or so, the situation was like this:
We had no leads that we hadn't solved or that we found ourselves unable to solve. Piecing it together didn't lead anywhere. Then it all became about Skype and some bullshit, and we became dependent on some Skype group or something. It all stagnated. So I left, there was no room for me.
A shame. It was fun.
>>
>>27361321
What's Loona's Skype?
>>
>>27361507
I don't know, I dropped out when it stopped being centred on the board. I had no desire for this to continue in some Skype circlejerk.
>>
So, I've tried to slow the "screaming" down in the latest video. It's not screaming at all. It's just a long, continuous sound.

It really just sounds like static to me, with no message meant to be hidden in it. I don't have spectogram programs, or SSTV programs or anything, so I'm not much use if there's not anything obvious here. I'll keep toying with it out of curiosity.

Good luck to the more advanced Anons, though.
>>
>>27361774
SSTV is easy as fuck to set up, Anon. That said, it's also a very characteristic sound, so you should probably be able to tell if it's supposed to be SSTV.

Yeah I know the sound back from when the Portal ARG was running.

There's no jumping from one extreme pitch to the other, no sections of wavy sound, it's all just a constant static that oscillates up and down slightly in pitch.

It's a variation on the Arecibo Message. An anon broke them down in an earlier thread, I'll repost:

1. Identical to the human number system, base-10 with 0-9.

2. Unlike humans, this DNA structure is made of Scandium, Zinc, Vanadium, Oxygen and Gallium.

3. Nucleotides - not human, anon said he would investigate these further but no information came.

4. Assuming this is supposed to be pony DNA, they also use the double helix structure, but it's once again different from humans.

5. Rough depiction, size rating, and population count: The depiction gives a height of 1.638m (note: In the human version, this is based on an average height of a male human; for Luna it may depict her actual height) and a pony population of around 4.3 billion (incidentally similar to that of Earth in 1976).

6. Depiction of Equestria's star system: Breaks the rules of how star systems are portrayed in the Arecibo message, it appears to show them as living in a binary system system but the 'lesser' sun may be Equestria's moon.

7. Depiction of the antenna Luna is using to communicate with us. Anon speculated at the time that it looked similar to Apollo 15's lunar satellite antenna, and later posts would confirm Luna was hijacking that to talk to us.

>>
>>27364203
I doubt that it's 15, as she'd need the entire lander to communicate. It's probably 17 or 18, the missions that were never publicized that became classified after they interacted with Loona, hence being "missing".

Could it be these mountains? They are called Tycho Peaks
>>
>>27364217
>17 or 18
Strictly speaking that should be 18 or 19: 17 was publicized, although its contact with Luna was not. It's almost certainly 18, though, since we have definite confirmation that one visited her whereas only a single reference to 19 (and it's a bit of a stretch at that).

>>27364517
Yep. That's the peak in the center of Tycho crater. Pic related, the smaller peak on the left of Luna's image can be seen below the main peak in this image - her perspective is somewhere off to the upper-right of my image.

What's interesting is that her video shows the peak 'opening up' at the start of the 'active' section. However, Luna was already in contact with probes by the time that Surveyor 7 landed at Tycho, and no manned missions ever came close to the crater. Then again, there is that 18 mission to consider.
>>
>>27364599
Yeah, the post comment mentions tycho. I was trying to find wherever the unaltered image came from. Its not really anything that will solve anything, just my curiosity.

Alright, archivefag here.

Since I've been running back to check earlier posts a lot, I've realized that a fuckton of links in the pastebin archive still point towards archive.moe URLs. Obviously those are dead and in need of updating, but I've run in to two major issues:

One, a lot of the links in the archive are stored as direct links to the file, not to the post. I'm not sure if there's a good way to take something like "https://data.archive.moe/board/mlp/image/1436/58/1436584475488.png" and figure out what post it came from (in the future I will link to both an image and the post it came from to avoid this).

Two, I could probably get better data on the actual fucking moon than I can get from desustorage. Whether a picture will load is an absolute coin-toss. What I'd like to do is rehost these somewhere else, but again I run in to the issue that I need to figure out what an actual image was in a post (and get it downloaded) before rehosting. The latter I can just download the old mega archive to recover some of the images, but I still need to know what posts they were linked to.
>>
>>27364732
I think the old mega is included in here as both a folder and the compressed archive itself. >>27343009
