I guess my biggest complaint is that I just don't see any actual conflict arising yet, sure Trixie's alcoholism is there but it hasn't pushed her to do anything bad yet; there seems to be some bad blood between Trixie and the Griffon, but again nothing is really showing. I think that you are showing a lot subtlety but not actually reaching any of these points.
The story is cute as hell and I enjoy reading every word, I just wonder where is it actually going.

"Just with your claws?"
>"Of course not.", she cackles, "One of the first things Karranak bought me was a set of daggers... Still have them, but I don't like to look at them any more. They bring forth to many memories."
>With another sigh, the clear alcoholic liquid vanishes into her maw and she moans deeply.

>The claw holding her bowl finds it way into the rough vicinity of Trixie and beckons for another refill, which it is almost instantly granted.
