The OP polls were never meant to be properly representative. They're meant to force new QMs to ask more detailed questions when they come in. All those questions are just step one into whatever the potential QM wants to actually ask about, so we just skip it.
We can redo them if someone wants to bother though.

The sentence is broken in several ways. It was never mentioned that the character looked away so it started off weird, but assuming that happened I'd fix it like
