For an adventure? Scuba diving through ancient shipwrecks in the Caribbean. So I think the general Dashfag reaction to the new episode can be divided in to two camps. The "eh it could have been better but wasn't all that bad" camp, and the "it didn't fit my perfect idea, why didn't they suck up to her the moment she joined I'm so betrayed I'll never love her again" camp.
I guess this is where we will see who are truly Dashfags and who ditch her when things get rough.

Not a Dashfag but...No...I was hoping for episode where the wonderbolts give her a teasing name because they are asshats like that. I also like the lesson that she doesn't have to try to stand out from the crowd anymore, BUT she still has to work hard and follow a regime to be in the pack she has been trying for so long to get into

I'm more or less in the same boat as >>27294724 the episode was decent enough and was a long way from the worst of this season. I also think that some people missed the fact that the cringy section was meant to be OTT cring.
I also think a lot of people miss the fact that the wonderbolts are an elite military unit/display team so of course they're not going to mess around and have a hugbox whenever someone's feelings get hurt. Hell was more or less implied at the end of the episode that teasing each other is to be expected, the wonderbolts were also pouring on the praise here and straight up said Dash is a talented flier.

You're 100% right with this. I'd also add that people don't seem to realise that joining the Wonderbolts has been Dash's dream since she was a child and she wouldn't just give up on it when they start teasing her or don't immediately give her the top position.

I don't think it sucked. RD has always had to fight to get recognition before, but with the Wonderbolts even if she's technically better she's still only one of several elites. Her hero worship and past struggle made her overreact to some simple rookie hazing and she looked stupid for it. She didn't look like a bumbling idiot to me. It was more like anyone would act trying to fit into the cool kids group after being on the outside looking in for so long. I really enjoyed it and I think she got some real character progression out of it.

I get that there has to be some form of conflict and resolution, but I don't understand why it had to be "she makes a fool of herself." It be like if Usain Bolt went and ran with you local college track team. Even if he fucks up at some point in time, he's still going to beat all of them by a ton, because he's the fastest man to ever exist. RD is better then all of them by a mile, yet the first thing she does is completely fuck up her routine (not to mention a WEATHER PONY got scared of a cloud) and forget the supposed number 1 rule of the Wonderbolts, despite being a reserve pony for a long ass time? I just don't understand why they had to shit on her like that.

I liked the episode, I just wish there was an episode more dedicated to her actually fully becoming one and joining the team. As it is it was a one or two minute thing which makes sense given all the build up, but it's just what I would have liked to see

Nah, Rarity essentially completed her goal in S5, I don't think it's more a Season long thing, just a gradual thing that we're seeing take place in the show.
The CMC got their Cutie Marks, Dash is a Wonderbolt, Rarity not only owns a shop in Canterlot but also in Manehatten and there's a Movie on the horizon.
It's bittersweet in a sense, I don't ever want to stop seeing these Ponies live their lives but it feels that as they're reaching their goals, we're coming to a close.

I don't think so, I think Season 7 is pretty likely considering the fact the movie is late 2017 and releasing it months after the show ends isn't going to do them any favours. It just feels like we're reaching an end though.
