Let's be honest, Twilight as a character has gone downhill ever since the heresy that is Season 3. Arguably the best character on that show now reduced to a completely different character.

Eh, I don't love them in particular, but I don't think they're awful. And Cadence is a curiosity, we don't really know much about her before she became the ruler of the Crystal Empire. There's potential there for interesting backstory (though I doubt we'll get it).

That said, I think its okay that she's not always going to be some perfect pony princess who knows how to handle every single friendship problem without issue. Her neurotic and insecure behavior was one of the things I liked about her way back when, and ever since they've been extremely downplayed or removed outright till very recently.

As a matter of fact, that's exactly the problem with Twilicorn. If she acts like how a "Princess of Friendship" should like, she is just boring as fuck as a character, but if she's more like her old self, then her ascension and title doesn't make much sense. So in other words, there is just no good way around Twilicorn, and that's why the whole princess thing was pointless with her

Tell me about it: The library had the perfect combination of homy-ness and possibility. It could take on whatever role it needed to - treasure trove of hidden knowledge, basement full of weird experiments, bedroom that was warm and welcoming - without stretching too much.
It was a fantastic house in a fantastic world, yet not so far-fetched or exotic we couldn't appreciate it or its contents. And it actually reflected her character: A bookhouse for a bookhorse.
