Prove to me that this game wasn't forgettable.

Inb4 that proves my point.

You made me go and search "OP sucks cock" to find this image since I didn't have it on mobile.
Fucking faggot.

I wanna fuck the horse more than I want to fuck the person on it.
>>27208250
The fact that this thread made me remember that it existed is proof that it is forgettable.

This is now a Fuck You i'm reviving this thread.

Well, you surely remember it, seeing how you made a thread about it.

I like the music
48 hours
Too short. The creepy impact would have been much better delivered if the game was at least doubled in content.
As it is now. The time between the puzzle collecting and the big reveal is too little.
Same for the time between the dark reveal and the ending. After you discover the burnt remnants of the pony in the fireplace the game is already over after a few minutes.
Anyone got a link?

OP was right, show related threads are ignored.
>>27208250
You still remember and discuss it.

They're short shorts. Grill shorts. For hot farmer grills.I own a pair.
>>27208250
I remember that game.
Well no shit it was forgettable. I played it like 5 fucking years ago.
I watched Space Dandy like a year ago and I have trouble remembering any episode in its entirety, and only remember small, disjointed scenes. How do you expect me to remember a flash game I played 4 years earlier that I don't even think I finished (maybe)?
>>27208250
You're right. People can't forget something they never heard of in the first place.
>>27208250
Anything is forgettable to /mlp/. They live under a rock.
>>27208250
I remember it. It was fun.
>>27208250
We're still here talking about it years later?
Anyway it's too short, but I overall thought it was a fun little distraction for a few minutes. Some of the art that spawned from it was enjoyable too, but I'm a fan of 'what if?' bad end kinda stuff, so maybe that's just me.

The creator should have left in more hints for what turned them those townsponies into hellish demons. Same for why they feared cutie marks when it was a natural thing everyone had.
He left a bunch of hints as to what happened to Ruby, why couldn't he also leave hints for the rest of the events to answer the questions?
In its current state it feels like "lol magic" just like in Dust Elysian Tail when the creator attempts to "explain" the main character's backstory.
>>27208250
just played this game, and the questions I have to ask is what?, and why? So the ponies killed Ruby, but why? What happened to turn them into skeletal undead? The sheer fact that I had to go to the trivia page just to get the basic story is enough to can this game, and there still is questions left unanswered. Like why do they see butt marks as curses? And what caused the ponies to become undead in the first place?
>>27221676
The whole story hints of: satanic cultists which found anything magic to be heresy.
Perhaps back in their old times cutie marks were a rarity, or they were an unstable form of the cutie mark which spread and killed the ponies. But it's never revealed how old they are and why.
The creator himself doesn't seem to have any answers as to what the fuck was he trying to do with the setting and the story.
Maybe if he didn't try to make the game in less than a month for a contest then he would have put more thought into the "game".
The game itself needed more mechanics before it actually felt like a game. An attack, a jump, a roll, a magic spell, something.
And then it needed more content like Applebloom reliving the old days(time travel) and understanding why the townsponies had a serious issue with cutie marks.
>>27208250
You seem to remember it.

The game could have used more fleshing out, but I'm leery about the idea of AB getting an attack. I kinda liked that you had to just run when you encountered them, it was a nice way to give it a bit more of a horror tinge. Maybe if the game were longer you could get some way to fight them, but were I the designer I wouldn't give something like that until late in the game
>>27221800
That's all fine and dandy, but since it wasn't explained in game, the story is trash, and doesn't even come off as scary
>>27208419
What is this stupid fucking meme with drawing the middle and ring finger together? I'm seeing it more and more.
Nobody holds shit like that in real life. Never.
What started it? Animu?

She could attack indirectly via crippling, traps, shields, luring timberwolves. That way it still maintains the feebleness o the player. A hiding mechanic could also be very useful, same for a leaping and climbing mechanic.
And that's just the player character. Stuff like luring the everfree's wildlife towards the undead enemy and making them fall off a cliff are already setting-related mechanics.
>>27221184
Would have been better as a first person view game though.
>>27222341
Or a genuine 3D one.
>>27222341
Derp Till Dawn had that gimmick.
>>27222341
I'm not sure. If that were the case, I would've liked it if special attention was paid to Applebloom. It'd be nice to be reminded that you're playing as her, and not some faceless avatar like most first person game's are.
One way might be to have the camera set low, to remind you of how small you are compared to the world around you. It'd impose a greater sense of vulnerability, I think. One of those "blanked" fuckers lumbering your way down a narrow corridor, towering over you, would probably be quite a sight your first time.
Some voice acting would probably be a good way too, preferably from Creber herself. I know what the odds are of that, but hey, fun to think about
>>27222944
I personally prefer if the voice acting was done by a completely different and experienced person who doesn't try to imitate the same redneck canadian voice.
It seems like I'm the only one who thinks like that.

Those paint-esque silhouettes cannot be properly remade in Flash.
Wasn't there a remake being made once upon a time? Using more show accurate assets, and such?
>>27225103
Yeah, ever since 2013, but it died down... as usual.
