History seems like a good place to start. You ask Sunny to poke through the spell books to see if she can find anything useful while you and Blind start to look through the history books.

It’s slow-going. Occult history is a bit of a strange topic, and most of the first books you find only have scant information. After about fifteen minutes of searching, however, Blind produces a thick tome and puts it down on a table. The title reads “Memoria Eternia”, and a flip through it makes it appear a bit dense. The inscription on the first page reads “We will not die alone in the dark.” Eerie.

You let loose a low whistle as you see some of the things stored inside the book. Wargs and zombies are there, sure, but it seems to have an endless supply of bizarre creatures available for study. You suppose you should start with demons.

Also known as devils, demons are a creature of extraplanar origin. Popular myths about desire for the ‘immortal souls’ of ponies appears to be mostly paranoia. For the most part, they appear to subsist off of magical energy, particularly that conducted through lust of any variety. Given millenia of twisting words and rules in compacts, one can expect a demon to use every advantage possible. Dealing with them is not advised.”

“The most common methods of dealing with demons in the past were to assign them territory, giving them permission to use any pony who made their way through there, but this is a rather outdated practice and not commonly used any more. More common these days is for demons to coexist peaceful, making mutally beneficial deals with the ponies around them. In extreme cases, ANGELS are commonly called into play.”
