>You smiled at Buckshot, admiring his sturdy frame as you approached him.
>Your head was starting to feel a little light and your shoulders loose.
>It was making you feel confident and giddy.
"Oh y'know," you said casually.
>You didn't stop when you reacged him, forcing him to sit back on the bed.
>It was easy to hop up on your hindlegs and get your forehooves around his neck.
"Stuff~" you purred at him.
>He wasn't quite expecting the kiss you planted on his muzzle.
>But he was more than ready to push back, pulling at yours and battling your tongue for dominance.
>Buckshot grunted slightly into your sighing mouth and leaning back.
>You followed him eagerly, climbing up onto his barrel until you were on top of him.
>The two of you made out for a few pleasurable minutes.
>He was giving your flanks plenty of attention with his hooves too.
>It felt so good, but you didn't quite feel like you were ready to go again.
>Eventually you ended it with a few playful pecks and a giggle.
"Nails got some of the bottles open and she's getting more. I've got some food too. Hungry?"
>Buckshot grinned as he continued rubbing your flanks.
>His cock was poking your leg again too.
>"Sure, I could go for some food."

Tried the Fallout 4 Survival mode.

Right now it's a total mess. You have to shove food and water down your gullet like you're a 700 pound man running a marathon. Sure, I know most survival games get this criticism but this time it's pretty fucking bad. Sickness seems random too, it seems it just randomly chooses whenever it feels like it no matter the situation.

It's nowhere near as balanced and fine tuned as NV's hardcore was. I think NV only really shined when you played Hardcore mode, because suddenly all those items and locations that once seemed useless are now extremely important or a godsend.

A little bit of interesting lore stuff to think about though. Rad-away (along with chems in general) weakening your immune system temporarily or Stims/Healing potions giving the user fatigue adds some nice touch to some of the 'safe' drugs. Chugging a bunch of healing potions during combat would no longer be possible since it will probably cause the user to pass out or be ineffective in a fight. Arwin's tweaks had something like this (Stims forced you to walk for a short period and lowered STR temporarily) but it's nice to get a little nod.

In the end, just like pretty much everything in Fallout 4,I was always thinking in the back of my head 'Man, when mods start getting pumped out they're gonna use that/take advantage of that/expand that and make an amazing experience.' But it was just that, recognition of potential for someone else to turn a shit game into gold.

So I just read all of Homelands, and I have to admit that it's... Good. Big, mysterious, overarching plot, decent characters, an interesting take on the zebra lands, shamans are interesting, no cyber alicorns... The only real question is how long until Somber fucks it up.
>>
>>27202504
>'safe' drugs.
Didn't both RadAway and Stimpaks have downsides in FO1 & 2?
I remember RadAway being addictive and lowering your rad resistance and Stimpaks having some kind of a debuff if you used them too much.
Of course Bethesda had to fuck up this too.

Radaway was addictive, Stimpacks had no debuff or whatever. You're probably thinking of Super Stimpacks which still have a debuff in the new games too.

Maybe I should ask this on /v/, but, has anyone here had any problems with invisible weight in NV?
>>
>>27204206
Yeah. Weighted quest items might be among them?
>>
>>27204206
Can happen with quest goods or when its trying to calculate certain items with perks and not.
Also make sure you have no statuses that might be mucking with things, nor mods screwing with the UI.
>>
>>27204334
I'm playing on console, so no mods, unless you mean weapon mods.
I have Pack Rat, which cuts the weight of all things 2 pounds or less in half, if that's what you mean by statuses.

>>27204325
None of the quest items weigh anything, or at least it says they don't.

I've literally emptied my entire inventory into a safe container, to the point where there was nothing under ITEMS on the lefthand side. It says I have 42 pounds when I'm carrying nothing. The only thing in my inventory that has weight that I can't get rid of is my Caravan deck, which weighs .50 pounds with Pack Rat.

I haven't been to the Strip yet. Nor the Fort.
I've been to Vicki and Vance, and I've won the second-highest winnings prize.

Maybe I should tell what happened...

Basically, before I had this weight, I decided to go on a massive stealing spree. I play Fallout very autistically—as in, I pick up everything that isn't nailed down, because someone will buy it. And there was all this junk just sitting around in Camp McCarran that no one was using, that I could have most certainly used. Nuka-Colas, empty soda bottles...too much good stuff. And since Karma has little influence in NV, and it's laughably easy to earn it back with a few Ghoul and Fiend kills, I decided why the hell not? So I made a save in front of Camp McCarran, then got busy sneaking and taking. I cleaned out everything in the camp: every last bent tin can, ruined book, ashtray, cigarette, and loose bottle cap. It took several trips of fully loading up myself (I can carry 330 lbs), ED-E, and Boone to empty it. We only got caught once, in the courtyard tent area, by an NCR soldier that Boone shot and killed when they turned hostile—for some reason no one reacted to it and I didn't gain NCR infamy.

Then I decided that wasn't enough, so I stole everything in Novac (except from No-Bark Noonan), Goodsprings, Nipton, Red Rock Canyon, the Great Kahn Armorer, Gibson Scrap Yard, and the Hoover Dam (I even traversed those four dreadfully empty power plants for what little they had to offer). I also killed some Legion assassins and did some other stuff in between all this, and by the time I was finished I had over 5,000 pounds of stuff jammed into that little suitcase near the door in my Novac motel room.

Then I set to work with Jury Rigging and repaired Super Sledges with pool cues, Brush Guns with single shotguns, and whatnot. Then I spent three days in-game going around to all the vendors I knew trying to maximize my profits, selling off everything I didn't want. Over 50,000 caps later...
>>
>>27204595
...I get back into my motel room and notice that, instead of the usual 70 pounds of equipment I carry, I have one hundred and something pounds (I don't remember the exact amount anymore). So I go to the only container left that I haven't put stuff in (the First Aid Box in the bathroom) and empty everything I have into it, then take it all back, and lo and behold there was an invisible cowboy repeater and some invisible combat armor and helmets in my inventory. With these gone the Weight dropped to 122 pounds, but that's still more than what I carry. So I empty again and again but no more invisible stuff turns up. When I'm completely devoid of items to drop, I still have 42 pounds on me.

It had to have happened before the stealing spree, because when I go back to the save I made just before I started, my Weight comes all the way down to 0. So I was wondering if stealing is like the equivalent of unprotected sex in Fallout. You steal from random stranger's houses willy-nilly, and you risk picking up ghost weight like it's an STD?

tl;dr I stuck my sticky fingers in too many hairy, irradiated pies and picked up 42 pounds of ghost weight herpes.

>>
>>27204609
I actually tried going to the Brotherhood of Steel bunker at Hidden Valley because I heard they would take everything you had from you, including Quest Items, which you could select which things you wanted back from a container after you "agreed" to help them. But I guess this was fixed with a patch, because the only quest items they took from me were my keys/keyring. I have the 2012 Ultimate Edition with all DLC, by the way.

I was thinking maybe it happened when I stole from Old Lady Gibson. For the quest Come Fly With Me, I was able to Speech-convince her to give me the thrust control modules. But as it turns out you can also steal the modules from an average locked metal box inside her shack. These were still in the box even though I completed the quest long ago, and after some hilarious mishaps where, if one of Gibson's many dogs catches you stealing they'll come take the stolen items from you themselves, I successfully made off with this replica. On the Fallout wiki it says "There are two versions of the modules, with differing weights and values, though only the weightless and valueless one is used in the game in normal play. Both versions are marked as quest items." Despite having finished the quest, I still couldn't drop it. It said it was weightless but I had my doubts. But when I went back to my McCarran save and went and stole it again, I was still able to empty my inventory down to 0. So it wasn't the culprit after all.

...I'm thinking maybe some of those Rocket Souvenirs or dinosaur toys I bought/stole from Cliff Briscoe might be it. It says they're weightless but I'm not convinced.

Ah well. I could try continuing the game and see if it eventually goes away, but I'd rather have those 42 unoccupied pounds back. Inventory space is very precious to me. I don't mind losing 13 hours of gameplay that was mainly just me stealing to get them back.

I suppose that depends on whatever the hell the author decides. I'd probably go with more dragon-ey thing, though. Laser lizards just sound... Eh. Or maybe something cockatrice-ey. A lil' peacock with spooki magic or something. I dunno
>>
>>27206930
Well more of it would be something found in a weird place made of crystal (hexagonal) columns that lay shattered and broken, with odd inscriptions in a long dead tongue around them.
Perhaps the lizards are the descendents of dragons that ate this crystal and were warped by the magic, perhaps they were once the rulers of this place, but have since regressed into this primitive form.
Whatever the tale is, its from before pony time, just one more mystery in Equestria that nobody got around to answering.

I like the idea that Equestria is was already a magical post apocalypse when ponies got into it, all sorts of ancient shit, broken wrecks, and species that may have once been sapient, the elohim to the morlocks as it were.
The concept being that there's just all this stuff that nobody knows what it does, and its been there from before the ponies came down, may even have been there before the prepony civs were there.
Just ancient and unknown magics, with the question being is if this is how what comes after ponies will see what is left of the war.

My whole explanation for the ponies controlling everything from the weather to the animals is basically because they live in a powerful, highly volatile world and need to hold the leash tight or risk an ancient horror/magical storm/monster infestation happening.

I kind of more like the idea that its done as a way to show friendship and belonging, like having the workload split at conational tech parks and all to say how much you like each other.
It doesn't have to be, but doing so is a good sign.
Given how the ponies didn't cooperate in the past and things did actually go horrible.

Repairs can probably still be implemented via mod It'd just have to be via weapon mods that degrade over time. Add values to each part and if one breaks due to use it'd add actual value to carrying around the useless parts that get stored inside your inventory and do nothing but take up space.

It seems most of the other branches of the military survived in some form: Army/Special forces became Steel Rangers. Air Force became Enclave. The Mercenaries broke up into the various Talon Companies. Some raider clans seem to have paramilitary backgrounds etc. Additionally according to Kkat (and normal intuition, the war started because of an incident at Sea) a large part of the war was fought at sea. Keeping this all in mind I have to wonder: What happened to the Navy?

I've been thinking about it for a while A while being about 2 hours or so ever since I saw this qt sailor pone. The ships that were out to sea or were far enough from any major industrial center that got directly Megaspell'd would be perfectly fine. Additionally, it'd take a while for the radiation to spread over the globe, and in the unlikely event that every single capital ship was in-port/close to the shore/Zebra wasted nukes on and were all destroyed, there would still be Submarines that could just submerge deeper into the ocean to avoid any radiation. It's almost 100% likely that a decent amount of the Navy would survive and then attempt to regroup.

This raises some problems however. Obvious one is that how come they haven't landed in Mainland Equestria and tried to take over like The Enclave did? Surely they'd at least be able to waltz into Manehattan and bombard the shit out of it, blowing up Homage and her stupid fat butt. The biggest one would have to be if the GPE tried to ever contact them. If they were relatively close to Equestria they sure as hell would have gotten their attention since they were so desperate for supplies they invaded parts of the Griffon lands for resources. A bunch of Battleships cruising around would have made those pegasissies cream themselves, so I personally do not think they ever encountered them. Or if they did the government kept it hush hush since they probably there's no net gain they could get ultimately.

So perhaps a faction of what remained of the Navy that were parked out by the Zebralands formed, maybe near the mentioned islands and atolls. Far enough that making the 'trip back home' would seem daunting enough and also far enough that the Enclave would never notice them.

Sort of in the same vein of the Rangers, but not as unorganized, early on in their inception there was an argument among the commanders on the best course of action which led to infighting. This resulted in the Navy being splintered into 2 major factions Which I haven't named because it's the middle of the night and I'm shit with names. They've decided to 'split' the territory of the islands at the hemisphere, one would expand north while the other would expand south. Of course there's still minor disputes between the two but unlike Steel vs. Applejack Rangers they're on decent terms and even trade with one another.

I kinda want to expand on this some more, but I'm not sure what kind of story they would fit in. I could write about them going around screwing around with the zebra, but >writing about Zebra.

I also thought about writing about an Expeditionary Force that is sent out to make contact with Mainland Equestria. Though I wouldn't know whether to have them just as the Antagonists who roll up onto the scene and cause chaos, or follow from a PoV of one of the Sailors/Marines on the Expedition who possibly goes rogue or gets separated.

That's pretty neat, anon. They sound like they'd make a fine antagonist faction.

Would they all be ghouls, or would they be a population of normal pones? And how would they keep everything on those ships working while on the salt water?

I think some other pony should arrange for a necessary repair session between the two via a series of hijinks, only for Steel Cherry and the stallion to completely miss the point of the sealed room and the need to take off a stricken armor.

They'd be mostly formed out of normal pones and some of the locals in the zebra lands they've managed to 'convince' to join. Ghouls apparently only form whenever you are exposed to a large amount of rads in a very low period of time (In NV a random guy tried to turn into a ghoul by just sitting next to a pile of radioactive material, but ended up just slowly dying of radiation poisoning as normal.) And since there would be some who would be far enough from rads that they'd avoid instant death or ghoulification.

There'd probably still be some ghouls among the ranks who would be treated with honor and respect though.

As for how they keep the boats maintained, I'd imagine they'd attempt to go around and capture any remaining naval bases, Equestrian or Zebra, and defeat any of the zebra Navy that managed to stick around. That way they'd be have the tools to keep what remained of their current fleet in shape like The Enclave. What's better than the Enclave though is that'd they'd be able to capture any Zebra boats that were docked in port or whose crew surrendered during their last fight against them.

They'd take advantage of the local population to be able to have enough resources for this, but the two splinter cells would have different ways around this. For example the North group would be comprised of most of the Marine core and would argue that Subjugation or raiding is the best way to go, while the South side had plain old Navy + remnants of the Coast Guard who heard their distress signal and met up with them, they'd argue that directly governing 'a bunch of savages' isn't worth it and instead they'd just form alliances among any of the factions that popped up, in exchange that they extract resources for them. Also at first they'd have a weaker fleet so going around blowing everything up is much harder for them

Also there would be a lot of gay horses among the ranks and it'd be encouraged because >gavy

Ammo would be a serious issue unless the argument is that the ships primary weaponry is magical-based. Alternatively, someyhing needs to be thought up about replacing primers and propellant every so many years.

I really like the concept, though I think it might be better from a story perspective to maintain a running conflict between them and the remains of the Zebra fleet as well, potentially introducing some Master And Commander type of scenarios/battles/shipboard life things. Battles between the protagonists and raider-type motley assortments of boats, often trying to prey on individual vessels, maneuver warfare, ship maintenance, crew living conditions... I'd definitely read the fuck out of that. Doesn't even have to have a complicated plot, the events alone are going to eat words for breakfast once detail starts being added.

If it resolves the ammo issue then I think it's safe to toss out in the early era of armored battleships that ramming as a maneuver came back in vogue. Though that was more a product of a lack of armor-piercing shells in the later half of the 19th century than anything. Everything else was reserved to chewing up still-working wooden ships and shelling land targets.

At best they could make like Tegetthoff at Lisa in pic related and smash an enemy ship in two with the bow and then continue on your way unphased.

Materials database
Codex Excerpt:
“When securing ground to erect artillery, ensure you are not building on the sapper’s tunnels.”
Classification: Spectra, liquid rainbow, Dash’s hair dye
Threat Level: High, confiscate on sight
Materials description:
Spectra is the condensed material of rainbows, and looks the same, following standard ROYGBIV ordering. Samples of Spectra maintain this coloring in a fractal nature, with detached monocolor sections spontaneously forming their own striations within seconds. Low viscosity with a boiling point achieved by direct sunlight, samples are to be kept in opaque flasks went not in use.
Origins:
Found primarily around the blast site of Cloudsdale, Spectra is the leftover material from making rainbows at the weather factory. Analysis shows it expands at the sight near old machinery and during fog. Spectra is not dangerous in nature, nor does it require special precautions when encountered raw.
Usage:
Without the large scale use of amenable pegasi, Spectra has few uses beyond decorative. One use remains though, weapons. When stimulated with a voltaic discharge, Spectra breaks down and emits an intense show of light. Properly configured mirrors and lenses result in a phenomena similar to MEWs, though without the catalytic breakdown effect. Multiple work sources encountered in the field during mopup operations have seen attempts to create Spectra weapons, several having succeeded and allowed the creator to escape with full knowledge.

It has been two centuries since the world ended in a blaze of emerald fire, ravening shafts of sunlight, and the blood of all too many innocents. For you see, the end of the world was not one of sunshine and rainbows ever after, but paranoia, mistrust, lies, hatred and violence. Once, ponykind had been lead by the virtuous sister Celestia into a great age, then when her sister returned, the elements of harmony came to assist her. But in those dark years at the end of the world, ponies became twisted caricatures of themselves, desperate to do what was needed to survive. For you see, everyone is their own devil in the dark, but it takes another to be a monster.
Zebras had long been a mystery to Equestria. Their few travelers and emissaries had been long away from their home and never part of it. It was a republic without much knowledge to the sisters, something that piqued the curiosity of the immortals. As Equestria began to stabilize and grow, their desire to speak with other nations continued apace. The advent of trains led to the refinding of the Crystal Empire, and so did the steam boat lead to the finding of the Zebra lands. These lands lay across the ocean, far from Equestria with no point of contact. So one might wonder how then did zebra’s reach Equestria?
The answer was simple, zebras were master alchemists, and had long ago learned to bend nature to their will just as a unicorn might. What differed was that zebras needed resources, gems, feathers, charms, and more to use their magic. So it was on a fateful day when Zebra and pony met to discuss trade that the world began its ending. Equestria needed coal, what deposits they had found were unobtainable to their rapidly growing population, while Zebras always needed more magical resources. So it was that the two nations fatefully began to trade.

Calamity looked up from the history book. He hated this part, every grade he had been in had taught him the same thing, none of them would ever tell of the truth of Mistress Applejack, Bringer of Light and Justice. The buck looked around his cubicle in the stable workshop, the grey walls doing little to help his mood now. It would be so nice if these walls actually had tool racks on them, he thought, but I reckon the Overmare would be an apple mite pissed if I brought it up again. Few new books had been published in the two centuries since Stable 2 closed its great door. Much of what had been known to the world had been lost, ponies too desperate to survive the apocalypse left carriages of knowledge, carts of supplies, and far too many of their own behind in a desperate attempt to get to safety.
Wistfully, the tan unicorn wondered what it must have been like. A few minutes of utter calm broken forever by the chaos of the end. What had Applejack done then? How many lives had she saved? How many zebra saboteurs had she killed with her revolvers? Calamity wished to know, he wanted to find more about her. And so he resolved to do the one thing that had never been done in Stable 2.
Escape.
>>
Littlepip looked up from her podium at the Tribunal. She had bucked up, really bucking bucked up. She had been given a mission, a simple search and retrieval for the foals of a Dashite. Not only had she failed to recover them, she had, in a moment of weakness, helped a muddie. A rust colored buck that had just walked out of a stable, she had given him some supplies of her own. Why? She wasn’t sure, maybe it had been a desire to help, perhaps an unwillingness to let innocents die? Maybe it had been love. No, she pushed that thought back. The Enclave didn’t have love. Love led to babies, and what few plants could be grown by pegasi above the cloud deck were stretched thin. Pip was into mares, she enjoyed getting bucked and rutted by them, but all the same, something had made her give up her life above the clouds. Give up her cutiemark, her very essence.
“Littlepip. Scout Littlepip!” the prosecutor caught her attention. The red pegasus wore the mask of court, its projectors distorting his voice as much as it covered his features. The Enclave worked in secrecy, few places more so than the court for surface military expeditions. The surface was not safe, could not be safe, so had been decided long ago to maintain the Enclave. Any attempts to break this truth were met with harsh punishments. So Littlepip stood here today, a diminutive grey pegasus in a darkened chamber. No defense was given to her, no need for one as her suit’s recorder had showed her every action.
“We have reached a consensus; you stand guilty of providing supplies to a ground pony. Your sentence for showing such favoritism to those of the ground shall be to look like Ministry Mare Dash. Her cutiemark shall be your cutiemark, and as much as her mission shall become yours. This court is over.”
>>
>>27219151
From the sides of the room, two Shadowbolts emerged, their black carapace armor hiding the network of synthetic muscles and talismans beneath the armored shell. Littlepip didn’t care that she had no chance. She fought back, her small blows doing nothing to the bulky bailiffs. They waited, enjoying the feeling of her resistance, and let her have some belief she might escape. All her hopes were crushed when one simply tapped a shod hoof to Pip’s wing and sent a shock into her. Pip’s side went numb, her legs and wing unresponsive. The bailiffs had had their fun, and now it was time to carry out the sentence.
Pip groaned in pain as she was carried to her new fate. Her last thoughts before sliding unconscious were whether it had all been worth it. The chamber empty, the head prosecutor turned to the surrounding pit of jurors.
“Well that’s done, who wants Pegarian BBQ?”

Yeah, the real answer is that you should ship Gear with Twotails, and P21 with Grit.

That leaves Alloy with Malice, Glory gets to go with the pegamare from Spike's cave, and then you Take Pip and Calamity and tell them that the exit fee is a baby bulge.
>>
Ok so how about this for the reversed story.

Pip becomes more scavenger raidery before the story kicks off.
She's been on the surface for a bit as a dashite, but right in the area Brimstone cleared and claimed, landing her pretty much in kill or be killed and grab whatever you can to survive territory.
This behavior sticks with her, leading to a protagonist with a very low bar for killing, and constantly looking for supplies to survive off of, regardless who they belong to.
Essentially, a lot of very antisocial behavior.
But, she still has her military roots, and defers to authority when she encounters it.
As well, she doesn't engage in combat if she can avoid it. Her background as a scout very much put her in the run to fight another day camp.
Further, she sees Red Eye as a force for good, that he has successfully tamed some small part of the Wasteland, something that not even the Enclave could do.
As well, she accepts slavery, seeing it as not only a proper thing, so long as it isn't happening to her or friends, she will help recover slaves, seeing it as them going AWOL Oh the irony.

Calamity grew up in Stable 2 and deified Applejack to be a patron saint if not goddess of justice, sending zebras and ne'eerdowells to meet their fates in proper measure.
He is immensely in favor of dispensing law and order from the barrel of a revolver, and he has spent his time around New Apploosa still shepherding and protecting caravans.
Downside is he really has a shoot first and keep shooting mentality, believing Applejack will sort them out.
This leads to issues when he tries shooting at Pip, and this time around, she pegs him really well to kick off the relationship.
His big issue is that he values freedom, seeing Red Eye as a blight with his conquering armies and forced slavery.
He has a dream to bring law and order, but not the way Red Eye does.
>>
>>27220704
Red Eye is redone into a fraternal twin concept, but with some complications and conjoinment.
They have opposing eye pieces from where the doctor separated them, and twin telepathy.
The duos plan is much the same, to bring about a better Equestria, but this time they actually got a better plan, and have managed to make some of the areas of Filly actually green and stay that way.

Downside, they are far more ruthless, believing that their survival is a sign from Faust that they are meant to rule Equestria now.
This places them in opposition to the Goddess and Unity, as only one can rule Equestria.

Into this world, Calamity and Pip mostly stumble and wander, trying to figure out what they are supposed to do.
Calamity quits being the guardian when he finds out his departing the stable cost Littlepip her life, believing that justice is now to help her as much as possible.

Littlepip is torn between trying to tell high command of what is going on the ground, and whether she should just settle down somewhere.
Worse, the Goddess is giving Pip an offer, a home and family with her, something appealing to the pegamare.
All she has to do is bring her the Black book from Canterlot.
Pip's always waned to see the capitol....

"Uh uh uh. Naughty Pip. I never said you could taste directly... but uh... if you want, you *could* get a second hoof taste from Calamity."
>Looking at the suddenly smirking Pegasus, Littlepip took a moment to think before gulping, looking at the monstrosity before her.
>Before she could fully react to what was about to happen, Calamity gently placed his hooves on the back of Littlepip's head and began to guide her closer, her mouth opening more and more as she approached, driven by the scent of Velvet's love.
>Just as her tongue began to touch, the thought that she was licking a stallions penis ran through her mind and horrified her for all of a split second before the taste overwhelmed her senses.

>The subtle saltiness and slick sweetness of what she could taste was better than any she had encountered before, even better than she had imagined Velvet would taste, even better than she COULD have imagined.
>There was no longer any thought, only pleasure as Calamity began manually bobbing her head up and down on his dick, the sensation making him hard again despite having only orgasmed moments before.
>Not wanting to feel left out of the action, Velvet now took over Calamity's job of making Littlepip take yet more and more of her lovers penis, amazed by just how wet Pip was.
>Gently running her tail under Littlepip's, Velvet enjoyed the sounds of Littlepip moaning in mindless pleasure while Calamity simply enjoyed the act.
>Wanting to see just how far Littlepip would go, Velvet stood over both Littlepip and Calamity, magically fondling herself until yet more juices gushed out and onto the stallions hips, cum from both parties staining Littlepip's face and Calamity's thighs.
>As if by command, Littlepip began deepthroating Calamity, desperate for the pleasure centre that was Velvet's scent.
>Before Calamity could respond, an inability to hold back overcame him and a new load was shot into Pip's throat, making her eyes shoot wide as she realised once more what was happening.
>Choking as she came to her senses, Pip quickly pulled the penis out of her mouth and looked at Calamity, and then Velvet, and then in the mirror... before licking her lips and blushing with a smile.
>Knowing how Pip must have felt, Velvet leant in towards her, licking her ear softly before speaking a phrase as if to further confuse and destroy the poor young mare before her.
"Same time tomorrow?" She muttered with a wink and a smile.

>The prospect of fun outweighed your worry over the consequences.
>Besides, camp wasn't that far and you could probably find your way home together.
>You let your hooves run over Buckshot's sturdy frame and shoved your rump into him from your sitting position.
>It actually gave you an idea, and you probably had enough time for some fun.
>You passed your bottle of fun juice off to your cousin and lay down over the green stallion.
>First things first, you wanted to suck on those lips of his and feel his hooves grip your ass.
>Nails giggled off to the side but you ignore her while you made out with your new coltfriend.
>You couldn't help but giggle from wvery grab and grope.
>It was so warm and ticklish to have somepony putting their hooves all over you.
>Without really thinking, you started a shoving motion with your hips, sitting back into his lap with your nethers.
>You were hoping you would feel his cock back there but at the current angle it was difficult.

Look, there aren't many MLP/Enclave swears I know of.
Pip should still swear, in fact more so being military.

Why not try your hand at how the two meet?

There's your problem. If you're trying to write a serious scene, there's a good chance that gratuitous swearing will kill the tone. It's infinitely worse when the swears you use are cringeworthy horse puns.

>Pip should still swear, in fact more so being military.

Its not much of a stereotype when its true.

But sure, why not have Pip be a peacenick that thinks violence is abhorrent?
Her real crime to become a Dashite was her refusal to gun down some pegasi before they escaped below the clouds.

FoE runs contrary to both the themes and ideas of Fallout and FiM in it's attempt to haphazardly mix both without having a better critical understanding of what both are about. This is FoE's critical flaw and no other Sidefic authors seems to have recognized and addressed it, not even Fuzzy who is usually seen as the most adept here.

The big issue of the entire story starts with the first line in the entire story, that is shamelessly lifted straight from the games: "War never changes." It's the tag line of the series, but it seems most players don't seem to know what it means.

The meaning of this phrase is pretty simple, warfare is an inevitable part of humanity. A bit more specifically in the first intro cinematic it compares the Resource war to all wars before it, all ultimately fought for power and resources. From Caesar's campaigns, to Spanish ambition and Conquest, to even Hitler. War is part of human nature, and of course if the world was utterly destroyed and drained of all resources and killed 99% of the population, the remaining 1% would still be killing each other for what was left.

But this is a blatant lie in the world of MLP. Ponies don't fight, as far as we know Ponies have never even fought a war before and FoE seems to treat ponies as if this is the first real serious conflict they've ever gotten into. Which makes the shameless rip off of the tag lone jot only cringe worthy, but damaging to the story as a whole because it doesn't make any fucking sense for Ponies and shows a lack of understanding on Kkat's part.

I assume Kkat sort of tried to do with the whole virtue shig where ponies eventually started to lose their 'way' and turn into raiders or whatever. While this is sort of an interesting idea it's A. Not entirely relatable and B. Ultimately an afterthought and C. Would require establishing a black and white look at morality which not only might make people pissy but would take out any of the grey morality Fallout is known for.

It's the settings of most Fo:E stories. I've seen a few that go a different rout then shooty, shooty boom, boom. but they tend to not be as long as others. Fo:E works well for stories about struggles, violence, and dwindling hope. Most other stories need a level of order from it's setting, something the anarchy of the wasteland has little of.
