If I have a great idea and vision then it can take as little as 2 hours but usually coming up with ideas to continue the chapter can be like pulling teeth. I have a really bad habit of not getting enough sleep. When I get more sleep the ideas come easier. If i am really tired it can be impossible or I write crap and have to start over. I also take a brain supplement that seems to help and generally makes me more awake.
