I'd consider anything that can't be undone irredeemable. There aren't many things that fall under that. Murder and causing permanent brain damage that renders someone unable to function as a person.
Forgiveness is important to redemption because redemption is entirely a matter of how you are perceived. You have to earn them both just the same.
If no one thinks you're redeemed, then either you live among people entirely unfair in their judgement, or you haven't done enough.
The issue with murder is that you have destroyed the opinion most important to your redemption.

The prompts are weak sometimes and the QM is going a bit too meta at times, but I like the mystery and the atmosphere, discovering stuff and all.
It's obviously very heavily inspired by Inept and Daring Do and the temple of Tammany, but I still find it pretty cool.

Actually I didn't notice that similitude until a few hours ago. Probably related to how I didn't read that one past... when the fire pony breaks her wing I think?
But I (Conciously, at least) drew more inspiration from a weird PS1 japanese game... the name eludes me, but in it there was something similar to the end of the world and you are in a crazy tower searching something, going deeper and deeper. Everyone is mutated, there is this angel who gives you weapons from time to time, and you have to kill monsters for consumables to replain your contantly depleeting dexterity.
Now that I think I never finished it, the controls turned me off.

Agreed, and the puzzles I through off were more of a subtle, constant gameplay variety (Too subtle maybe, we only unlocked Ponka's memories) rather than enough ones in the map itself. The second floor will have more map puzzles, at least.
