I honestly think that it's become just another show. Maybe I'm just biased against the later episodes, but I've gone back and re-watched episodes from season 1 and 2 for the first time in 2-3 years, and I was grinning like a fucking retard the whole damn time. There are still moments that get me to cry, like the ends of Dragonshy, Sonic Rainboom, and Hurricane Fluttershy from off the top of my head. Don't get me wrong, the show is still good, but there really was something special about the show back then. I think aside from Faust, Renzetti had a huge impact on the quality of the show.

Does anyone have the audio of all the season 1 episodes with all the vocals removed? I used to listen to those going to bed pretty much every night, but lost the mp3 player containing the files a few years ago. I've always loved the music that played during friendship letters, and I have no doubt that I'll lose super hard if I get to hear the bgm from the end of Best Night Ever once more.

Yes, oh god, I'm tearing up. Even without paying attention to the faint vocals that are present, I can still remember the words to that scene. I remember that affecting my dream once, and had completely different characters re-enacting the scene, but my mind filled in the voices loud and clear. Fucking hell this thread makes me sad. I remember hearing about the whole "Brony" thing, thinking it was just a fad, people joining in on a meme just to fit in somewhere. And I got annoyed to hell and back by all the pony shitposters.
But from all that, I realised that they were pretty hot so I started clopping, and around 2015 I joined the ride. Feels like I missed out on everything great.
