The wording feels off, like it's been put through a translator. For a text written so poorly it didn't have any misspells so I'm guessing that's exactly what happened. To be expected on an afternoon in europe.
But grammar aside I don't like how you portrayed Luna and her inferiority complex. You don't just openly talk about your insecurities by a cup of tea, you should've found a different way to show her struggles other than having her just straight up say how she feels in such an unceremonial manner. If you felt overshadowed, irrelevant and unimportant, you'd want to prove your worth, save the day and show everyone. Not send people to do things you could've done yourself and definetly not talk about how poor and sad you are. It would only make you feel even smaller.
Also I don't think she'd ever think of raising the moon as something unimportant, but is rather annoyed with everyone else finding it so.
I can kind of see what you were going for with the ''aww, poor old Luna, I just want to help her'' but I don't think you made it work. in the past she dealt with her jealousy by holding it in and acting normal, eventually overflowing with anger and bursting out, ruining everyone's day. Then when ponies forgave her and accepted her we all thought she was fine, socialising in the Nightmare Night and helping out CMC, but then we found out she was mentally totruring herself this whole time because she couldn't deal with her guilt, only asking for help when she had no other choice. I just can't see her openly talking about her feelings in a somewhat adult manner.
Now there's nothing wrong with writting Luna your way and straying from canon but then you have to do a proper introduction, or else we'll just assume that she has a canon personality from the get go.

I know when I tripped here earlier during the Scruffing you all showed some interest in my stories, so I said I would post my lighter stories when possible. This is one of those times.

I don't blame you for not understanding, my catalog of stories is... complex. Octavia PoV is viewed by a lot of people in that thread as being equally canon to SiM itself. MrN and I helped cross-check stories lines so that there wouldn't be any plot conflicts between the two. While he never officially endorsed it as canon, he did make it clear he would try to account for it when writing SiM.
The remainder of may catalog (http://pastebin.com/u/mendicant), with a few exceptions, is also compatible, to a slightly lesser extent. They occur after the SiM/PoV time period, with no specific dates; although they can be assembled into a reasonable chronological order. From extreme dark "To be a Mother" to lighter stories like the one I just posted.
There is no "larger story" in the sense of a single /story/, but there is a larger timeline. Nothing is concrete, so it really allows the reader to pick-and-chose which stories they like to include in their headcanons, but they do function together, and reference each other quite a bit.
If you need further clarification feel free to drop by Proportional Punishment and ask. I don't want to spam /moon/ with stuff people might not be interested in discussing, but I'll gladly give a more detailed understanding if needed.
