Not really. MLP revenues are up a bunch, the EQG minis are starting to offset losses on remaining EQG inventory, and entertainment revenue seems to be stable. None of the information given so far indicates that there won't be a 7th season. In fact, it would be odd if there wasn't one, seeing as revenues are somewhat driven by the show, and revenues continue to grow.
Oh wait, another comment on pony: the only area where growth was flat was entertainment, and that was because last year they had revenue on the books from a streaming rights deal. So that basically means that this year the show did well enough between streaming, reruns, and new episodes to match a quarter where they had all that revenue plus the money from the streaming deal. So basically canceling the show would be retarded.

1st quarter last year they made x amount of money between the show and a massive streaming deal with Netflix. This year, they made the same amount of money in this quarter, but just off of the show, because the streaming deal was a lump sum payment and doesn't expire for a few years. So the show made a lot more money this year compared to how much it made during the same period last year. If it's really that good at revenue creation, then combined with the stellar G4 toy sales it would be utterly retarded to cancel the show.

Ratings shmatings, they know 2 things:
1. Nielsen ratings are bullshit, and a bunch of the audience for the show will watch it on a stream or on YouTube/dailymotion when it first comes out, then watch on a streaming service/ buy episodes or songs digitally/ watch reruns on TV later, which is part of what drives the unstoppable MLP money machine.
2. They're still making piles of money on merchandise, and that's significantly driven by the show's popularity. If the show were to go away, then mercy sales drop in tandem. To the point where they almost have a fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders not to cancel the show, because it would eat into their profits and devalue the company on the stock market.
