What's next for Lauren Faust? Would she reboot MLP again, with stipulations for full creative control over the show?
>>27055791
It would probably succeed for a little bit, then begin to decline due to resiliency from Faust on what should/shouldn't be done. For better or for worse, the transitioning writers for this show is probably one of the main reasons its still around today. Simply put, it just keeps things fresh.
>>27055791
>What's next for Lauren Faust?
there is no next. shes stuck on this endless ride with the rest of us.
>>27055791
Having come up with the idea in a previous thread, I'll shill for it here:
Reboot the IDW strip with Faust as the creative director. They already have near total creative freedom, so she'd be completely content, and would have the leeway to make the comics worthwhile instead of a total shitfest.
>>27056511
Comic books are way below her pay-grade, she'd either have to really slum it or the comics are going to be very expensive.
>>27055791
Nothing. She couldn't get Galaxy Girls off the ground and she's not easy to work with. Career over.
>>27056530
>Comic books are way below her pay-grade
But anon, faust don't create the ponies for money, she isn't a jew :^)
Does she even need to work? I assume she somehow gets royalties from her older shows.I know nothing about the business.
>>27055791
>What's next for Lauren Faust?
Nothing. She's pretty much burned all her bridges at this point. Can't find work if nobody wants to work with you.
>>27055791
I hope she succeeds and I like >>27056511's idea.
But first she needs to wise up. No more Twitter-spasms like the one at the season premier. Ugh that was so cringey.
>>27055791
She starts something new, doesn't get her way, quits.
She starts something new, doesn't get her way, quits.
And so on and so forth until she stops getting work.
>>27057321
She hasn't quit TFH
>>27057321
Can you elaborate for those of us who havent been following her work?
>>27055791
She should kill herself.
>>27057332
Because it is filled with fanboys who worship the ground she walks on and will let her get her way no matter what she wants.
>>27055791
I wanna see her do some thing original, or maybe something o do with Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends. That was my favorite thing shes done.
>>27056530
Well, comcis weren't below Johnen Vasquez, why would they be too low for her?
>>27057226
Honestly, I always thought she and Craig where pretty much stable and didn't really need much income based on how much money PPG generated.
>>27057443
To put things in perspective, Johnen Vasques is a B-list comic book artist who had a couple of TV shows. Lauren Faust is an A-list animator who had a relatively recent hugely successful TV show and rarely ventured into comics.
She's in creator/director pay grade.
He's in comic book artist pay grade.
>>27056562
>>27057245
>>27057321
All of these. She's a whiny spaz that drops a project when she doesn't get her way. I don't know why anyone would want to work with her.
>>27057584
>having integrity makes you a whiny spaz
>>27058492
>Integrity
>>27057584
One wonders why somebody that insists on that much creative control decided to write a toy commercial of all things
>>27059650
Must have worked, we're all here.
She's probably the same sort of weirdo we are on the inside. Maybe she too wants to fuck the ponies and knew just how to make us want to also.
>>27059710
>>27059829
Considering all the first person pronouns I had assumed that went without saying.
>>27057349
True, but it seems to be working out more or less Ok because of that dynamic.
>>27055791
>>27055791
>Reboots MLP again
>still doesn't go the way she wants
>>27058492
>Hasbro did things differently from CN
>Sony did things differently from CN
>Despite how well the show is being received I'm going to leave because things aren't like when I was working on Fosters or PPG
I loveMomI do, but it's just been hard to sympathize with her in recent months when you realize she chose to leave and it wasn't Hasjew or Sony being big meanies and shoving her out the door. Integrity is one thing, not being a team player is quite another.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?
YOU'RE A WHITE MALE
But seriously the show has been sucking from about the middle of season 2. The only "bronies" that stuck around are furries and anime losers.
At least it's doing well with little girls.
>>27060314
So what's your reason for sticking around?
>>27060319
He's a little girl.
>>27060319
I'm just here for the green. Things are so far gone now that even our weird-ass stories are truer to the source material than the last few seasons.
>>27060333
Wait, I thought we all are?...
>>27060344
That's a bit of hyperbole. I'm pretty much the opposite, though. I can't really tolerate the constant greentext this place seems to generate. Shit hurts me physically. I have to jump around between the non-greentext threads. At least I always have MLPG as a base camp.
>>27060314
> anime losers and furious
Furries
Hey faggot, some of us just like the show, just because ponies are cute af doesn't mean we want to plow some fat fuck in a squirrel costume. Also, anime is literally nothing like this show, eat a sack of baby dicks motherfucker.
>>27060346
Do you want to brush my pony doll's hair?
>>27057321
>>27057584
How much I love a hypocritical fedora tipper who judges a complete stranger they've never met.
You pathetic manchildren would make for awful parents.
>>27060059
Go to hell and climb up your grandmother's uterus if that is what you honestly think.
>>27060386
What are you, a colt? Of course not!
But we can discuss our horsebandos! Picrelated, he's mine.
