All three of them have proven to have many skills. Especially Apple Bloom, with her leadership, chemistry, carpentry, and decorating. Those skills just aren't their "destiny" and didn't show up on their asses. Being an Apple and having heart is more important to her and represents her better than those skills. Sweetie Belle's main talent just also happens to be her destiny and "purpose" in life. The point is that Sweetie Belle's the least developed or looked into of the trio. Apple Bloom has had plenty of episodes that develop her and look into her personal life, and Scootaloo's few episodes at least are about different problems. So far, Sweetie just has "I hate Rarity, no I don't", and I guess she took charge in Twilight Time, too. If the Sweetiefags are happy with how much development and attention she ended up getting, I guess I shouldn't complain, but the other two just have more of it.

I will agree AB has had the most development, she's easily the "Twilight" of a secondary group of characters...but I don't think Scootaloo has had much more than Sweetie Belle, if you can generalize every Sweetie Belle moment down to just having sister issues, you can just as easily do the same with Scootaloo and just having issues with being generally insecure.
Sweetie Belle does need more episodes though

I'm still disappointed she didn't even have any lines in The Mane Attraction. That was a perfect opportunity to do something with her, and the preview made it look like they would. Maybe have her put her newly-found destiny to use and help Coloratura remember what music's really about or whatever. Anything. But no, it was just an "Applejack's smart and right and everyone else is dumb" episode Coloratura's mark glowed just for the hell of it.
