8/10. Actually pretty decent, if a bit repetitive. This is what this series should be. Sad that it probably won't do well because Granny Smith is unpopular. She's one of my least favorite characters and even I thought this was pretty good.

I liked how Pinkie grew on Granny after she took all of what she had to dish out with a smile on her face. Pinkie's got a really high threshold for annoyance apparently. Still felt like a meh to average issue though. Anything in particular you liked in this one?

What in the fuck why is Granny such a bitch in this comic, this isn't like her at all and she was really nice and accepting of Pinkie when they found out they might be related.
Two questions:
1. What is wrong with the perspective of some of these faces? It's like she drew circles and then copy/pasted pony faces on them.

I liked the story, though I'm not quite happy with the resolution. I feel like Granny's realization through some other old fart being grumpy was rushed, if it was like a heartwarming moment of "look how much ponk did for us" and Granny had a moment of appreciation and then went back to her cold, reserved Clint Eastwood type (though she still kind of did), it would flow much better.
Garbageowska's art is lazy, but I never really liked her style, so meh
Overall a solid seven I enjoyed reading it

That's pretty much all there is to it. It's nothing controversial, and there's nothing wrong to either liking or disliking it. Heck I don't think anyone's calling it the best written piece or the worst written piece.
It's 100% average-passable. The sales though would probably be less than average due to Granny being the side character and Pinkie being a weird yet nice bundled main character to it.

Sugarcube Corner is a part-time job, and parties are obviously planned on a per-commission basis. And let's face it, she doesn't have to spend a lot of hours working on the Apple farm before she's done what Granny Smith could do, even such a simple task as going to and from the Ponyville market was significantly faster with Pinkie than it would have been for Granny.

Don't get me wrong, the pairing was fine, even exceptional considering the picks, but we the reader saw none of the implied good bits. No talk about old ponyville, no Applejack talking to Pinkie, a very rushed Granny realization. I honestly expected Granny to say she was happy with Pinkie and they were enjoying themselves their own way, like they had silently worked out their own dynamic; Granny pretending to be a grump and Pinkie kept saying 'Yes Granny' while still doing silly things like taking strange shortcuts. It depends on how popular a comic is, but this one is pretty low compared to the other comics so far. About 1/5th as much as usual. I think it has less to do with it sucking though and more with it being right in the meh territory of mediocrity. I've seen really awful comics do well cause people want to see what the fuss is about.
Also I've said it multiple times before, but I partly storytime cause I doubt there would be as many people with an interest in the comics were it not available to look at for free first, doubly so for the chapter books and such. It's the way I got into comics in general and now I nearly have a long box full of them. I don't expect it, but I hope there's Anons that buy the comics and/or books they enjoy after reading them here so IDW/Berrow are encouraged to make more like them.I tend to buy the physicals of the comics I like at my LCS the day after I dump them. I really hope I don't sound like too much of a shill here.
