I've been here since 2012 and every time someone tries to get a hypno thread going the same thing happens: there isn't enough content on account of the fact that not enough of us have the fetish. Unless we get more anons on the hypno train or start producing more content, these threads will suffer the same fate.
There is some pretty high quality mlp stuff on hypnohub though. If we get someone bumping the thread with decent pics from there, we might make some progress in luring unsuspecting anons to the thread.

i think the real problem is most of the people who write hypno stories don't use it to rape the ponies. They just hypnotize, do stupid stuff, have plot twists, but nothing majorly sexual. Page after page and nothing interesting happens, since most of the "plot twists" are uninteresting. I know one guy, forgot his name, made stories in every hypno thread, and they were written poorly, boring, and did nothing sexual throughout them, just weird stuff like dolls, playing with hair, and making others think they were chickens or some shit. That's what makes this fetish niche is if you go that route.
Just fucking rape them with mind control already. You can pull off a good story if you don't write porn, but you need good story elements to back it up then.
