Manehattan never wants for places tourists can enjoy themselves at. Shops and restaurants and theatres and dedicated parks and recreational centers are studded throughout the city. It's a rather eclectic mix that encourages spending a day travelling all around to make the most of it. Locals know the hotspots and most likely wouldn't be going to the biggest stores and attractions daily, but guiding friends from outside around might get them to such sights more frequently than otherwise.
One thing's for sure for Rarity; owning a storefront will give her plenty more opportunity to have excuses to visit.
