Not only Haber is the new Faust/McCarthy, but now he also gives his friends a shot on the series that they give no shit about. Next episode is writen by literal nobody who only got the chance because he's haber's buddy.

Stella...

I don't like Haber either as a writer but what day do you think it is?
>>
>>26947100
Why are you worried? Haber haven't written a single bad episode so far.

What has Mike Fox worked on?
>>

It's not a joke, Mike Fox is really the writer of the next episode. Apaprently he worked on some shitty sitcom and other shows. Hell knows which one but it can't be good.

So like all the writers under Lauren in S1? Got it.
>>
>>26947137
Nothing overtly bad but nothing really 'good' either.

Bloom and Gloom was okay, Friendship Games was sub-par (at least compared to RR), Cutie Re-Mark was okay up until a forced/rushed as hell ending, Crystalling mostly okay with a number scattered points of stupidity throughout it that sort of kill the over all enjoyment of it for me.

Great April fool joke, Tara :)

Haber is Polsky tier. Between 2/10 and 6/10 at most. His dedication to ponies is probably also at the same level as Polsky.

Kek, he worked on pure shit

I dunno, this guy seems alright based on his twitter.

He says writing this episode was one of the most fun writing experiences they've had, which means that it'll turn out good, or they totally fucked it.

I dunno Marta, he averages out to 7.5, can't be that shitty.

I never heard of this
>>

Polsky is great (mostly)
>>
>>26947201
Princess Spike my friend, the writer said something similar. Even Jim was praising it before it premiered.
>>
>>26947240
Jim always says to the audience what everything is great, that's a part of his job in some way
>>
>>26947137
Not full bad, but definitely mediocre all of his episodes have been.
>>
>>26947239
I'm all about being just to the writers whatever hateboner this board has on them. But you are dilusional if you think that Polsky or Merriweather were mostly great. The board and fanbase are pissing their pants when they are announced because of the shit writing they're capable of.
>>
>>26947249
They were mediocre bad or mediocre-forgettable. But not terrible as SAYS or Dusedau tier writing. And surely not even OK-good tier like Levinger or Confalone. I won't even mention the best tier with Larson, AKR and McCarthy.
>>
>>26947250
Merriweather is awful (on ponies)
>>
>>26947100
Atticon it's time to update your list with new writer.

Every writer is new at some point. If it stinks, then we'll tear him up.
>>
>>26947247
It would also put a big stain on his career or in the one from any previous or current staff of the show. Business-wise the best way to destroy your public image in front of employers is to point out or admit a colleague made a mistake, specially when so many people were involved in, say, creating the episode, and no one cares or worked to correct it.
Even Faust would still try to defend something the current show staff did that fans disliked even if she hated it too.
Remember; "integrity" only means your price is higher.

I fucking loved Warehouse 13. Never seen the others.

His only good episodes are Keep Calm and Brotherhooves Social and he didn't even write Keep Calm (it was written by McCarthy&Antionio AKA Hasbro's exec's teenage son)

Dave Polsky is one of the weaker writers for the show. I mostly remember him for being the writer of all the problematic episodes, but he also hasn't written anything great. At best he's average, there are no episodes that makes a great, lasting impression.
>>
>>26947737
Who said anythint about using it? I have a TV. I sit in front of it every evening and watch my distorted image in its bulged screen for two hours before I hit the sack. The thing hasn't been turned on in years.
>>
>>26949454
Brotherhooves Social was the only one being good and that's only because he actually delivered an neding to it. It owuld have been controversial crap episode and probably Big Mac's version of SAYS if they would end the episode just with the gags and without the tree scene.

I reckon that is probably Larson who edit the ending into it. He also made Smooze episode better by making Discord go full psycho in the end and threateaning Tree Hugger

>>
>>26949589
Yeah, to be fair, Brotherhooves Social was far less problematic than I feared when I first read the synopsis. I am still not a fan, though. They still treat men dressing up in feminine clothes as a joke, although it's not a major focus, and if you are nice you can even say they don't.
>>
Polsky is fine. I'm sure this guy won't fuck up too badly. There was one joke in the preview and it was actually funny.
>>
>>26949693
Polsky just recycled the Miss Doubtfire movie into an episode. Polsky is an old school writer, he doesn't realise that both Miss Doubtfire and this episode will trigger tumblr transgenders. Those were the ages were man dressing like a woman were considered funny. Just like Warner Brothers made many gagas about black characters with big lips acting stupid or as slaves.
>>
>>26949754
The problem is that Haber isn't funny so we can only depend on the writers themselves since the story editor won't correct any shitty gags like Larson did.
>>
>>26949771
Polsky has been well aware of his reputation of writing controversial episodes. He actually relishes in it.
>>
>>26949789
Haber edited the premiere and wrote characters more believable than in episode not written by Larson himself. If all of the stories are edited like that we'll be fine.
>>
>>26949693
>They still treat men dressing up in feminine clothes as a joke
You say that like there's something wrong with it
