What exactly draws you Flutterfags to her?
Shes not a particularly good flier, other Pegasai notably Rainbow Dash are far superior when it comes to flight and cloud busting capabilities.
Shes not even really particularly strong, her notable feature being her "stare" ability which counts as some form of intimidation?
Though why anyone would be afraid of Fluttershy makes no sense to me.
Personality wise she's pretty selfish, often choosing to stay indoors when more dangerous or daring activities are presented.
Even on nightmare night she could barely bring herself out of her home.

So in terms of reliability she's really quite lackluster, not exactly the type who rushes in headfirst to save you, (again Rainbow Dash trumps Flutters..)
And finally her color palette is an eyesore. Yellow and Pink? Quite possibly the girliest most obnoxious color scheme.
I guess I can take a moment to cover her butterfly cutie mark as well. I assume it has to do with how well she handles animals?
But to me, the butterfly is the symbol of self improvement, one goes from a lowly caterpillar to a glorious butterfly and achieving new heights.
And when I think Fluttershy, I don't think self improvement, I think retreading old ground over and over, generally being a hassle and a nuisance to her friends, and just generally unlikable on all fronts outside of a shallow attempt to be "kind" brought about out of her own weakness.

Which brings me to my next point, Fluttershy, is not actually kind. Yes, she may appear to be kind on the outside, but this "kindness" I see as nothing more than a shallow attempt to hide her own weakness not only physically but of her own character as well.
Real kindness is having courage to be the bad guy.
Lets say you see an insect on the ground, and this insect was already mortally wounded, crawling about, still alive but probably in severe pain.
Someone who's really kind would take the insect and feed it to a baby bird. Not only ending the insects suffering, but continuing the circle of life. I don't see Fluttershy as someone who could do that.
Fluttershy is like one of those cheap backpacks you get in Wal-Mart. It looks great to kids, but adults know that it's just a shallow corporate marketing ploy to exploit what's popular and should never have been made to begin with.

Listen here you, Fluttershy IS kind, and is sweet. Yes she has weaknesses, yes she's not the strongest, or the fastest, but she always does what she can to help her friends.
And in your second point, you brought up nightmare night. What you didn't bring up is that Fluttershy actually went out on that night despite her fears, she tried to have a good time with her friends DESPITE her crippling anxiety.
Now that's true courage, being scared as hell but still saddling up anyway.
I'll take the kind and graceful Fluttershy over the brash blue braggart Rainbow Dash.
Go back to /b/ or wherever you came from before, Fluttershy is one of the best waifus, and if you can't see that, well that's just fine, because Fluttershy loves you anyway, that's the kind of waifu she is.

Why do I like her? I could go on and on about her physical attributes and her heavenly soft voice and singing. But what I like most about her is how much the world scares her and how much strength and courage she must have to overcome those daily fears.

I love butter horse. I love her soft voice and nurturing manner. I love how she's sometimes more naturally elegant because she doesn't want to smush her smaller animal friends than Rarity who had to learn that shit despite her trailer trash upbringing.
But the thing is, I love all pones. They all have something to bring to the table and something to overcome. And Fluttershy is learning and developing.
She might even be a good role model for shy as fuck grills. They do exist and being the little grill has its own challenges. Having shitty grill programming is one of them.
