Handling baby ponies is tough enough when they're not flying off and punching holes in the architecture, so it must be some relief to the royal couple of the Crystal Empire that they can return to a semblance of normalcy in their life. It'll still be some time before anything can truly be called routine, but Flurry Heart seems content enough with other ponies presences that Cadance and Shining Armor could ease back into whatever duties may have been disrupted by the arrival of their child.
And that goes for Celestia and Luna as well - had they been away from Canterlot since they first received the news? Who's nominally in charge when both of them are away?
