Yes.
I've never come to hate the show, but I am disappointed in where it went.
Season 3 was meant to be the final season. Season 1 was the group working together and getting basic understandings of one another over the course of the first season as they went on small adventures or had fun little activities together. Season 2 was all about coming to understand each-other more deeply, getting rather personal with the main 6 and getting to know the characters a little more in-depth. Season 3 was supposed to tie up loose ends and clean up the show for the finale which Twilight and her friends become masters of friendship, understanding the ins and outs of making friends. This pushes Twilight to ascend into her Alicorn state. I would have been only very slightly bitter had the show ended there knowing what the future held. Season 4, the focus became a little more outward as the main 6 started to lose focus and it shifted from them learning how to get along and character growth with one-another into imparting their lessons around the world, thus causing them to spread apart somewhat. Season 5 amplified this as it sent them all over Equestia in the name of promoting friendship and worked to develop almost solely the world they lived in.
Do I hate everything from season 4 and 5? No, there are some good episodes in those two season, but largely they left me unimpressed and didn't/couldn't have the same feeling and style as season 1-3 did.
As for /mlp/, I float in and out here and there, but I really lost touch about 2 years ago when I dropped out of the AiE writing game.

Well, the season 6 intro is actually pretty bad. There's some jarring incongruities between the dialogue and what's on screen, and it drags a lot. For example, there's snow piling up around them and water is freezing solid. Sharp winds are kicked up all around the ponies, and Glimmer notices how cold it is because she can see Spike's breath.
I don't know how you get that massive of a mistranslation between the script and what's on screen.

I stopped watching around half way through season 5. Tried getting back into but found it really cringey and could barely get through episodes. That big mac in drag one just made me stop watching. I don't find the show that funny any more and most episodes, if they don't make me laugh, just are annoying.
