Yes. I picked her because I love and adore her, and because doing so makes me happy and want to return and share that happiness.
We're not the same. Aside from the age difference that would make a normal relationship in reality impossible, I believe we would be compatible and get along well. She's easy to get along with and doesn't dislike or distrust anyone but those who actively antagonize her. The only real issue is the age thing, and with a little effort and daydreaming, I can see there's plenty of ways to get around and be okay with it. I thought maybe because of her fears overtaking her in Rainboom, she was hiding her true nature with a tough and confident facade. After continuing to watch, I noticed myself over the last 5 years gaining more confidence and realized she just had a fear of being alone and failing. It wasn't doubt in herself but fear of those two things which are things I struggled with as well. I would like to say my waifuing had a hand in changing my self-confidence.
3) Yes. We have strong competitive streaks (Hers more geared toward physical attributes) and a strong drive to be the best and achieve height. Loyalty to friends has lead me to keep my friends from highschool and gain a few more. We both have some issues with failure and being alone.
5) Depends on how we met for the first time because first impressions are everything. If she were a random 'person' (by this, I mean I wouldn't know who she was), it would probably work much better than me knowing everything about her and her knowing nothing about me. Some of the fun of dating is getting to know the other person and hear their stories of their past while sharing yours and creating new ones together.
