Jumping spiders have that weird combination of big heads and eyes, reasonable sized butt and legs that makes them look non-threatening.
Second would be tarantulas, I guess.
They appear fuzzy, big and lazy, altho those small beady eyes and big cheliceras and midsection, adds some creepy factor.
The absolute worst are spiders with disproportionally big butts and long thin and spindly legs, orb weavers and whatnot.
