Wasn't really relevant to why I stopped. Just having a thread constantly open and people waiting for updates was a lot of work. Required a lot of maintenance, which is the fatal flaw of having your own general constantly. So I agree with the people ridiculing me for having my own generals, on a certain level.
If people want me to finish it, I'd probably just establish a day out of the week with a specific time in which it will be updated.

don't listen to them, I enjoyed reading your stories and they were a good inspiration to me when I was writing.
Part of the reason why I quit was exactly the same, people lost interest in waiting a whole day for one update.
