My university has online signing for courses, and you are expected to select all the required courses yourself. There are however some bound groups, for instance laboratories and lecture, and you need both.
Long story short, one labs had 45 slots, whereas corresponding lecture had 55. I am assigned to the latter but not the former, and can't do shit to fix it (those are the only ones available). I got no response to any of my emails detailing the issue, and even got a lovely "hey nigger u don goofed and missed a course, fix it or btfo" message today.
