I still like it, but I don't watch it religiously anymore. There's a couple of S5 episodes I didn't watch, and even though I've told myself I should, many other things have caught my attention far better than MLP, so I can't be assed to catch up with the few remaining episodes. Other than that, I'm not always on /mlp/ like I used to be, pony porn is just an occasional thing that I fap to now instead of the go-to material it was, and none of the news about the show or fandom matter to me anymore.
I latched on to another fandom and I guess that's part of the reason why I started losing some interest in MLP as a whole.

Got into the fandom in 2012 and slowly started to get out of it throughout 2013. I eventually came back when I heard about the season 5 finale sometime in November, and the fact that it had alternate timelines and crap like that. So I decided to start watching from mid season 3 (where I left off) and watch the rest of the series. I will admit, the season 5 finale was a bit of a disappointment to me, but the ride there was quite fun. Can't wait to see what season 6 has to bring.

Not as hardcore about it but I think that's more because I've become considerably less autistic and more well rounded. I still love the show but I don't spend my entire day browsing ponibooru/derpibooru, consuming pony music, videos, fanfics, talking about poni etc. now that I actually have responsibilities. I don't want it to die. I got here so late and have missed so much only to watch it probably die soon. I am still in that phase of watch every video, all the songs, and so on.
I think most of us, eventually all of us, want to move on to other things.
We want to participate in the fandom and on this board less and less.
I've been on many different websites for the fandom and all of them got old. /Mlp/ has been my last pasttime, and I'm even losing interest here too.

MLP and the fandom is becoming a part of the past for me, but it will forever have a special place in my mind, so hell yeah I'm gonna keep watching the show and movies, go to cons even when I haven't before, and come back and check on things here every once in a while.

I have been on this ride since the very beginning and I mean the VERY beginning, season one, episode one. I have been a part of this before most people were and longer than others have. It holds a special place in my heart and I haven't really lost interest in it. Sure, I don't watch as obsessively as I did for the first season, but I still watch and still wish to connect to other fans. I live in an area of the country where the fandom did not take hold until a year or two ago. As a result, I was the odd one out. But now, the new fans I have seen appear to be almost anti-social in their approach. I met a few at the last convention in the city and they asked if I wished to join their brony group, which represented the fans in my city. I had never heard of them and it was refreshing to meet fans in person so I said I would love to join. They asked what my Facebook account was and I told them I do not used Facebook at all. At that point, they simply turned and walked away. I didn't understand and I still don't, really.
But I am still here and still a part of the fan base, even if I have never actually made a name for myself. But the show has never lost it's luster and the joy it brings me. I did kind of lose interest in Season three and still haven't seen that finale, but I still keep moving along.

I think a lot of the people who write fanfiction don't understand the setting and lack insight into its approach towards friendship and magic. Their stories work at cross purposes to the show, and ultimately detract from one's ability to enjoy it on its own merits.

Yeah, MLP isn't the sort of thing you can be focused on all the time. I got into Dark Souls recently so I've been spending most of my time on that. /mlp/ has semi-frequent crossover threads with that series, so the two interests fit together nicely.
Anyway, I think it's good to tone down the whole pony thing in between seasons. That way when new episodes come out, you're excited, not just desperate.

I just got into MLP after running out of shit to watch with friend irl.
I've always liked the art and character designs but have shied away from actually watching the show simply because I knew it would suck me in.
Well, it did and we've been blasting through episodes. I fucking adore the show and everything about it; it's such a nice departure from everything else that's on TVor anime.
I might lose interest in it later, or maybe not, but either way I'm going to enjoy MLP as much as I can now.
