I've already played this game, some concepts were fine, but it felt too full of itself, like "look how I mess with your expectations!" I feel bad because a lot of effort was put into the game, but it only reminds me of undertale, which did this concept better. Pony island is just a meme game, and not because it actually has redeeming qualities that help it resonate with people like other meme games, but because it was made form the start to be that "surprise! I'm not what you expected it to be!" game that let's players like pewdiepie would eat up and make popular.

I didn't like the humor in undertale for the most part, it felt very "tee hee look it's a video game see I know and I'm inside it" forced 4th wall humor, but that's my opinion.
