I'm getting by with anime vidya and browsing my other main board.
I hate this board and the cancerous faggots that frequent it lately, too, and it's just not worth the 5 minutes of hiding all the uninteresting trash in the catalog for a decent browsing experience, so I just put the few topics here that actually interest me on auto-watch. This is my first time actually looking through the catalog in weeks and seeing this thread alone assures me that this is for the best. Hiding trash isn't about feelings or whatever you children are going on about. It's about wanting to get to the non-trash with less fucking trash in the way.

Of course, but only the people who hide generals would come into one and bitch when they accidentally misspell general. I think hiding stuff is fine since that's one half of what filters are for. But it's still funny since you can construe it as them being triggered, which is something 4chan criticizes about tumblr. Obviously it doesn't make them like tumblr, but that's 4chan for you. If you can make fun of someone, it's likely to happen, even if it's only partially true.
I personally don't like hiding things since I fear that I accidentally miss something I might have been interested in and I can deal with seeing stuff I don't like. I only use filters for highlighting stuff.
