Tl;dr, not your personal blog
A few years back, when walking home one day after work I spotted a Rarity pony like the one OP posted(but this Rarity had the brushable tail, it was the one that slotted into a little stand). It was all super scuffed up, discolored from the sun and dirty with that black tar asphalt gunk in the snowy ditch in january or so.
I took it home and washed it clean, used a tiny file and fixed her scuffed up face and hoofsies, and spend more time making her up nice by touching up her damaged colors and straightening her little brushable tail and such. She's not as pretty as she once was, but I love her whole big bunches.
Its lucky I found one this way, since I absolutely oppose buying Chinese deindustrializing slave goods and would have never accepted one gotten any other way.
