Just keeping ponies in enough snow to enjoy themselves is enough to ask - not so deep that it's a hazard or a nuisance to locomotion, not so light that it can melt into a disappointing muddy slush. Maintaining equilibrium isn't that much of a challenge for pegasi, but winter offers a unique canvas for showcasing weather artistry. Preparing the drifts and banks and dusting the trees just so - every day can be a newly pristine view.Do the weather pegasi awaken much earlier than most ponies?

The problem with alternate art-styles is that you can either go stylized (which leads to exaggerated features nowadays in western animation/cheap-ish look) or improve the quality of the frames (like the improved BGs we have in S5), anime-style, but at the cost of animation since that takes excessive amounts of time.

Even then it's only been somewhat casual. I still eat fried foods and drink cokes every now and again. I mostly cut chips, bread, and milk from my daily diet and my job has me walking around quite a bit (I walk about a mile from where I park to where I clock in).
But to stay on topic I bet they rotate who has graveyard shifts for the weather team, if they don't have ponies who would prefer to work that shift.
