You walk over to Halley and her parents. Halley is doing some stretches. You speak to her mother.
"So, are they all ready?"

She motions for Halley's father to come to her. He walks over and kneels as she takes off his coat and shirt.

>"Mmm."
He picks up Halley and plops her on his back. He then starts to do pushups while Halley counts. Lily walks over to you two.

>"Hmm? Oh, he got that from me."
>"Oh dear! Was there an accident?"
>"Wha? Hah! No, that was from when we first met. He was sent to try and kill me by these other pirates."
She sighs.

You feel like an earthquake just pasesd through you and into the ground. A blinding light fills the room. Just as you're about to duck behind cover, you're hit with a blast of sound and energy.
It's destructive.
It's powerful.
It's really hot.
You shut your eyes and hope it ends soon.

She forcefully pats you on the back and you cough up some dust.

The others pop up from behind some scorched boxes. Various oos and ahhs fill the room.
Deinna walks up to the gun.

Halley's mom pokes it as bits of it fall apart.

The dirty looking mare is climbing over boxes to get to Halley's dad.

You look up at the now sizeable hole in the roof.

He points to his tattoos.
She crawls over him. She pokes at his tattoos, frantically measuring them, staring at them and even sniffing them.

She nods.

A large parasprite-looking thing flies over to her.

It gives a little salute then zips away.
While Spark pries Halley and her parents for information, the pegasus mare that took you there walks up to you.

Alright. Let's think about where he was. It was just outside of Crevice Town, and it was sandy. It's day out, so it'd be sunny. His body turned into a big pile of rocks and grass.
Okay. Just picture yourself there.

You stop thinking about other things. Just the place.
A blue mist starts to emanate off the book. It swirls around the three of you. You feel extremely light, and floaty.

For a brief moment, you feel a sharp pain in your head. The pain from trying to transform too much at once.
You fall back into the grass and it softens the hit. The creature runs wildly around you, flattening the grass in the process. As it scampers away, it leaves a path heading out of the grass.

A leathery thump is heard from behind you, and you swivel around. Trying to focus on changing your arm into a type of shield only meets with a sharp pain in your head. You hold up your arm, still pointy and sharp, hoping for some sort of defense.
Another impact, and more warm liquids.
Everything goes white.
You hear the sound of Nina's magic wear off, and you open your eyes slowly.
The two corpses of the monsters are sizzling away.
"Sheesh. Is everyone okay?"

Deinna coughs as she struggles to pick herself up.
