Well, to be fair, that's only for description and not dialog, as I can type it faster that way. If it's an annoyance, I wouldn't mind doing a once over on every post for you.
What do you think of passive decisions in addition to active decisions?
For example, in JAD you can have a player state "I want to do a thing" that's not in reference to the current situation. Then as long as there's support, and it makes sense, a day later Pot will head off to go do the thing with an opportunity to stop him or do more things while he's out.
It makes it so that you don't have to actively be there to have some influence on the story.

So there's something I've been trying (very delicately) to figure out regarding Dandy lately.
Unlike most CYOA poners, Dandu is aware of the Anon voices in his head. This means he has the power to comment on their thoughts and instructions, and even to technically ignore them altogether. At least one player has commented on this and seems to want Dando to be more independent, since it'd give him a bit more character and it'd fit in with the story. The problem is that Threshold is a CYOA. There is an obvious problem with having the main character of a CYOA ignore the players' choicesunless the majority vote is something blatantly stupid: The whole reason for the separation to begin with was to act like an in-game shitpost filter.
My question is this: How obedient should Dandy really be? He's mostly just conversed with Anons and occasionally protested their instructions, but he's only ever openly defied them once or twice in the ~500 times since the mechanic was introduced. So, I guess my question is 'how far is too far?' I'd rather not incorporate a random gimmick like dice rolls since Dandy isn't nutsyet, but I'm struggling to come up with a better alternative than my current one without it totally changing Dandy's mental state or frustrating all the Anons who are used to Dandy's easygoing passiveness.
What would you do?

If they suggest something he's not against then have him go along willingly.
If the dice tell him to defy anons, have him defy the anons. Have him protest either way so we know the dice were triggered.

One way of doing it is to have ignoring players have a cost. Could be anything really. Maybe it hurts. Maybe it returns and worsens his brain condition. Maybe anomalous things happen around Dandy. Things that make defying players something that would only be done for major things. You'd also (hopefully) incentivize your players to not put Dandy at risk by fighting with him.

The Apollo encounter was originally supposed to be in an open room where he would begin talking to the MC all the while hinting at the presence of another thing living nearby.
Apollo would then encourage the MC to Stay due to how lonely he is.
At the same time Bioform 20 would be around this area stocking the Party, unbeknownst to the players.
In this version Apollo has no control over the Lab's doors and other environmental systems.
