I'm perfectly happy single, Twily, okay! Whenever I try this shit I instantly regret feeling obligated to "work at" someone and give them my undivided attention all the time, spend the rest of my time trying to figure out how best to break up with them because I can't be bothered, and everyone gets hurt.
Life's too short, I've got imageboards to hang out on, things to see, video games to play and sooo many Classic Doctor Whos to grind through.
Don't give me that "there must be others who enjoy watching your ponies and doctors and playing games with you" stuff... I know of one (if utilising bisexual powers) who is a pony fan and probably wouldn't say no, but for Reasons it'd be really hard work, we'd get maybe 10 years then I'd end up his full time carer. Not going down that road just for the sake of hooking up with someone. The rest are on the other side of the world somewhere. I ain't moving for anyone and don't want to be thinking "oh dear I don't love them enough to move to the other side of the country / another sodding country entirely for them" again.. been there done that!
