Well, in the particular case mentioned above, she took away my old phone with microSD inserted when I got a new phone, despite me telling her not to.
Then, later on, I told her I wanted the SD card back, and she said she wanted one for photos on her phone.
I said that sounds fine, but I wanted to get my files off first. Then she claimed she couldn't fucking find it. Months later she finds the old phone, pops the SD card in, and when she views photos, she gets a surprise.
It really irks me because all the shit I had from 2012 /mlp/ is gone now. Every last image. And this wasn't like a microsd she paid for, it was one I bought that had damn high capacity at the time. It wasn't cheap.
