What would a more "mature" spinoff of mlp be like? Would you watch it?

Mature is a variable term, most "mature" shows (even if I enjoy them or not) have the shittest characters that are usually one dimensionally based around their most (and often only) defining trait
MLP could either go slice of life, where its just edgy ponies living their normal lives but with racism, marital problems, alcoholism and such
or
a more Rick and Morty style adventure where the show is 90% based around Twilight and co (it would probably have to be narrowed down less main characters) going on crazy magical adventures or to alternate timelines, but more adult where they can straight up murder enemies with their horse lasers and so on

Its childishness has never been a problem for me. In the good episodes the emotional stakes are real to the characters and that's why engages me, rather than what precisely those stakes are.
I'd give almost any spinoff a try though: CMC, Daring Do Chronicles, Spike in Space...all good.
