Pinkie.
She is almost a carbon copy, except that she is responsible and gets respected.

Super skittish, owns rabbits, dogs and birds (mostly rescued) very quiet, gets nervous in crowds, loves music, favorite animal are butterflies, and her favorite colors are yellow, pink, and sea green.

What do you think?

>>
>>25813732
Very health/wellness oriented. Attentive to bodily wants/needs. A little bombastic. Enjoy nature, solitude, solo-activities. High standards of partners. Largely successful in various ventures.

I'm pretty happy with it.
>>
>>25813845
Huh, I'm very much the same. Especially when it comes to solo activities, nature and having high standards with partners. Though, the high standards tend to extend into other, more general habits, as well. Whenever I attempt things I am generally successful and make a point to do things as well as I can (likely due to the high standards I set). I do feel as though I could be more successful, but I think I also inherited my Mom's fear of failure. I think we would get along, Anon. Either that or we would have too much in common and become bored with one another.

Reading this thread and then trying to put my mum into words made me realize how fucked my personal life is and how I've never had a truly close relationship with my family despite being on basically good terms with everyone.
>>
>>25813905
Oh, I know what you mean; I'm absolutely brutal when it comes to picking apart my own habits, but I've learned it's better to power through them. Makes life a lot more enjoyable, and I have a nice circle of acquaintances to boot.

Anyway, I'll throw one back for you mate. Good luck.

My mother is most like Applejack's mom.

because she's dead
>>
>>25812134
This, mixed with Woah Nelly. My mother is loud, overweight, obsessed with money even though she makes next to nothing as a school teacher (I feel bad for the kids that have to spend all day in her classroom) and just overall unpleasant most of the time. I still love her, she's my mom, but fuck she's not a great person.

Complete Twilight.
Bookworm (my parents' house has a bookshelf or a stack of books in literally every room. Even the bathrooms), perfectionist, gets slightly obsessed with learning about new things after diving headfirst into them, kinda obsessive-compulsive, and gets books based on whatever kind of problem she's facing. She's a total sweetheart, though.
>>
>>25814984
What can I do? Her personality is awful, she doesn't take care of herself, but I still care about her. I think she's bipolar to be honest, she can be very motherly in small doses and then say something ridiculously uncalled for out of nowhere. I still owe her a lot and I can't sincerely say I hate her though I wish she was different. Looking at her really has motivated me to be a better person though.
>>
>>25815054
Then get her examined.

>books literally in every room. Even the bathrooms
Anon thats what magizines are for. Nothing ruins a book more then being in the bathroom.
>>
>>25815167
To be fair, it's mostly just magazines and only like 1 or 2 that are left in there by accident. But apart from that, they're everywhere.
>>
>>25814758
my mother has been an opium addict for as long as I can remember and only recently was able to quit. She took 800 milligrams of morphine twice a day. Google the average dose and compare. In her credit she managed to quit cold turkey after my dad left some years back, and I have no idea how she's alive.
During my childhood I was abused by my older brother, ignored entirely by my father and bullied mercilessly in school and it's not that my mom didn't care, it's that she never noticed. My mother started cheating on my dad and continued (to his knowledge while he tried fruitlessly to save his marriage) for years until my dad tried to kill my mother and I stepped in and almost died to keep him from hitting my mom anymore. She got away with extreme bruising in most of her face, broken nose and several cracks in her skull, mainly near her jawline. After the whole ordeal was over she still thinks she could've handled the situation on her own and refuses to acknowledge that I almost died to save her when she did absolutely nothing for me. She now has more than four fuckbuddies she goes out to see all the time, and is almost never home because she's too busy with all of the guys she's banging.
I still love my mom though, even if she's a terrible person.

Also, I have no idea what pony I can compare her to.
>>
>>25815101
>implying you can force someone to do something like that when they clearly don't think they have a problem
Yeah, good luck with that. If she's crazy, unhealthy, and rude she doesn't think it's a problem or she would have changed. Something like that would only offend her and cause an argument. Interventions only work on television anon.

>>25815054
I have a very similar situation with my Dad. The man's just broken and doesn't care about his health anymore. I'm pretty sure he just wants to die, but (thankfully) won't kill himself because 1. I believe he is afraid to die, 2. still wants to look out for his children, and 3. his brother killed himself years ago and thus has an aversion to the idea because of how it affected him.

Wish I could change him, but he has to want to change in order for that to happen. I can't force that.
