Dash is just fast, and she has to really push herself to acheive what Sanic can do pretty easy. He's pretty OP desu senpai.
rainbow dash can break the light barrier with her flight speed, but sonic can give you autism on sight in .0xquintillion milliseconds, sonic wins by technicality.

iirc, Sonic achieves speed over a mach effortlessly, while RD has to perform a rainboom to do so. And iirc, Sonic has feats of briefly achieving actual light speed without using the emeralds.
