I think it's more likely to get remodelled. We haven't gotten nearly enough Map episodes yet for them to just abandon the premise by having The Map to get destroyed along with the castle that houses it. I personally want to see an episode where the map directs them to the zebra lands. Heck, if they do that we might even get giraffes and other African wildlife as canon races.
